Eke kept going

He wasnt going to give up, despite being whipped with wind and rain.

He slowly made his way to the figure.

"Hey! Hey!" he shouted back

"Im here to help!!" he added changing back to his normal form, nearly being knocked over.

"Please! just calm down!"

Eke, being who he was, continued further.

"I dont care! You need help!" he shouted.

He kept getting closer the wind pushed him down.

Eke got up again.

He'd crawl if he had to.

He was almost hit by lightening as he made his way to the figure.

He finally made it, putting a haand on their shoulder.

"You just need to calm down! The more afraid you are the worse it gets" he called with a tired smile.

"Just take a deep breath and think of something that makes you feel good" he said shielding himself from the wind.

"Its the right thing" he said kneeling.

"Everyone deserves a chance to be helped, to be cared for" he said.

Eke then smiled.

He was dripping wet, and cold, but he gave his coat to the person, the cuffs muddy, his hands caked, his claws still out.

He then hugged the figure to comfort them.

And thats when a rouge lightening bolt hit him in the back, causing him to scream loudly.

But he didnt let go. He was determined.

Eke smimled faintly. "There...see? You could do it"

He winced shaking gently.

"Im...im alive..." he said collapsing.

His back was smoking gently, burned badly.

The frail draogn boy slowly sat up.

"Dont be sorry. It was an accident..." he said

He winced and coughed.

And he began to shiver, which gave him flashbacks of the frozen river.

"W...whats your name?" he asked trying to keep himself distracted

"Savra...were going to make sure you are safe...okay?" he said trying to get up.

Eke was in a good deal of pain despite the salve.

"Im okay...just a little..." he didnt finish his sentence before he collapsed.

The injury mixed with pushing himself so hard, it was honestly a miracle he was even alive

When Eke woke up, he was in the RV.

His felt his cheeks burn with fever and his head swim with fog.

"Ryker...?" he called softly slowly sitting up.

He bonked his head on the top bunk again and cried out.

"Ryker?" he called again

"Wheres...Savra...?" he asked.

He was sore, stiff, but his back seemed okay.

He felt very worn out, and like he was on fire, taking off his coat
