That's too bad about the adhesives, but at least it's only a minor allergy.

I knew someone who was allergic to the SPF ingredient in sunscreen. Was bizarre. Like choosing between sunburn or dying from an allergy? Wow.

Wow, that’s a weird and kinda scary allergy. I have very sensitive skin so I need my spf, it would suck not to have it. Plus, skin cancer.
My sister has a friend who’s sister died from skin cancer because of tanning beds, apparently. Scary.

woah spf allergy :0 do they have to avoid the sun more or anything? though honestly i really only use sunscreen if i am at the beach ...

Yeah they just have to avoid the sun more, I guess.

I've known a bunch of people around here in Florida who have had/have skin cancer. I'm fair-skinned, so gotta wear my sunscreen if I'm gonna be outdoors for a while. I should really see a dermatologist to make sure the moles I do have are all okay.

My skin is very fair but some times of the year I drive while the sun in rising and get tan on just one arm where the sun hits. >.<
I keep trying to remember to wear sunscreen or long sleeves or something.
Other than my drive to work I’m usually inside though

I'm usually indoors as well. I really can't stand sunscreen, but it's absolutely necessary for me. I just never cared for the texture regardless of the kind you gave me (spray or lotion).

Sometimes it can be as simple as putting on makeup or doing my nails (and I don't do anything fancy). Other times it's allowing myself to veg out in front of the tv, though I know that's not the healthiest thing lol. Other times I find myself buying clothes, though I try to be careful there. :P I have so many as it is, and I'm thinking about getting together another load to donate maybe later this week.

ahh i feel that! dressing up can be a nice confidence booster, even if you're not going anywhere
what i do appreciate abt tv is being able to turn your brain off, sometimes you need a distraction but don't have any energy or motivation for activities
a good movie can help me too, like if i can get "into" it mentally/emotionally, it helps to feel something else for an hour or two
what kinds of shows do you usually watch?

lol retail therapy is so real though

i try to buy secondhand so i get the like excitement/endorphin rush of new thing wo feeling too stressed abt it ... but it does start to pile up lol
i feel like it's easy for me to acquire things but really hard for me to get rid of things ... it can be cathartic to donate though! i have a big bag in my closet i've been meaning to donate but i just never get around to it

@xvz: I watch a little of this and that. Some anime, some reality competition shows (mostly cooking, but also crafts), some fantasy/sci-fi series, and true crime tv, to name a few genres lol.

I love thrift store shopping, but you're right, it can quickly build up. xP And it's definitely easier to collect things than to get rid of them! I never did get around to looking through stuff I want to get rid of, but I'll get there eventually lol.

the closest thing i can think of is something like project runway lol which i guess might not really be crafts haha
