But I can't deal with it non-stop for months on end, especially when the temps are combined with overcast skies for months on end as well.

It's 38 out. I'm cold. And tired. Sandy don't feel great. I just want to take a nap but the kids are up. >.< Cause school day.

@Koah: Might as well reply here since it's faster to earn pawns - I ended up going to a Halloween ritual/party/??? that my aunt hosted (we were all social distancing, or at least trying to). I stayed up till 11pm that night - my usual bedtime's like 9pm lol.

@0v7: Oh cool. Sounds like a good get-together. I was asked to go out to a bar with a friend on Halloween night, but, just like you my bed time is about 9. lol
I did a full day of different things with the kids. I think we did a decent job of social distancing.
The truck broke down just as the shops were closing up for the night. So we won't know much until later today. :c The theory from the oil place was that the fuel pump went out and they also think a lifter isn't working right. So... we're taking a financial hit.

It's good to get kids out and about, even if it involved social distancing. I for one could use some time outside lol
It's surprising that there aren't more 24 hour car shops! A couple months ago my uncle's car broke down in the city, an hour and a half away, and we had a lot of trouble finding a car shop that was even open on a Sunday.
We're taking a financial hit too - our new cat's got a claw injury and we're taking him to the vet today. My roommate offered to pay for it, which is nice, but also... I'm worried if it'll impact our general funds for groceries and stuff.

We went to a kids' event on Halloween that explained dia de los muertos to little kids. My son was scared of the face paint. lol. XD
There was a few trunk or treat events in town and one of the areas was so clogged with people, that once we got candy, we were ready to head home. We were peopled out.
I feel like 24 hour shops are as rare as 24 hour vets.
I hope your kitty has an easy vet trip and it won't be atrocious. I understand the money issue. :c My roommates haven't paid us yet for rent and we really need it now. >;<

It's surprising to hear that an event explained dia de muertos to kids! Where I live, people haven't even heard of it before... which leads to interesting questions. "Why do you have skull makeup on? It's not Halloween!" and such. I think my aunt, uncle, & cousins went to a trunk or treat... I didn't go, 'cause I don't like being near people and also I don't like candy that much lol.
