"She does NOT take to nicknames or pet names well." he said. "Addison barely gets away with a few of them." he then sighed. "He's lucky she's so head-over-heels for him. In her own way." he commented further.

"But fair." he then said.

"Anyway, whatcha gonna do with the sword?" he asked.

"Ask around and see what you can learn about it?"

"I'm not sure about the sword, but there has to be enchantments or spells or something to it. So I've got questions to ask with people." She added.

"Probably start with Darrell's dad." She added after a few seconds, "since he's easier to contact than Demi."

"What about your grandfather? Vincent? he then asked.

"I guess it's a question on if you want to know about the sword itself, or the enchantments or mana in it."

"You want me to drop you off anywhere specific?" she then asked a few seconds later as she continued to put some distance between the lake and them.

"Oh, want me to call Darrell's dad and see if he's home?" he then offered.

"Just so you know where you might be going to find him?"

"Well... yeah." he said.

"I suppose it IS something of a minor miracle, but... I don't question it." he said. "I'm just grateful for it." he went on.

"I can't picture my life without you, Kells." he admitted.

Luke sighed again, but there was a contentness to it, as he looked into the distance.

"Got no intentions of dying before my time." he told her.

"I intend to stick around with you for as long as I can." he assured her further.

"After all, pretty sure we're the only ones compatible with each other." he chuckled. "I REALLY can't see myself with anyone else, funnily enough." he then admitted to her.

The rest of their flight was in relative silence, with chit-chat here and there, and they soon saw Luke's house in the distance, below them.

"Ah, there's my stop." he said.

"Wonder if anyone's home..." he mumbled.

"Anyway, lemme know what you find out about that sword, if anything." he then told her. "Because that is one HELL of a curious weapon, to understate it massively." he said further.

"And my curiosity is burning inside me. Though it'd be better if I wasn't with you. Odds are I'd just be in the way, as a third wheel." he laughed.

"Curiosity is a hell of a drug." Kelly commented as she landed, carefully, on his roof, gratful that she had something to cause her to be hidden from view. It was a pendant taht she'd been given years ago by her parents.

"It's almost all I can think about for the moment, if I'm being honest." She added.

"Makes me wonder what the hell it is that lets me pick it up, and not you. The best I can guess, is some sort of elven thing." She said.

"Regardless, I'll let you know." She finished with as he climbed off her back.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely let you know."

Kelly just smirked.

"Maybe you'll see more later." Was all she said before giving him a kiss. A few seconds later, she pulled back and took to the air again.

"See you." She said with a wave before taking off to the sky again, leaving him to do whatever he was going to do now that it seemed their day had been cancelled.

She landed on their balcony and sighed before knocking on the glass door, not sure if anyone was home, but definitely hoping someone was. Even if it wasn't who she was looking for, she could hopefully be told where he was.

After a few seconds, she saw Jaden poke his head out from the room he was in. Just the man she was looking for. He paused as he looked her over, notably, the blade she had with her, before making his way over and opening the large glass window.

"....hey." he greeted her.

"This is an unexpected visit." he commented.

"Looking for Darrell or something?" he asked.
