"Thanks... just... just thanks." Peyton said. She knew that most people in the building liked her, a lot, but also that there were some outliers who didn't. She just hoped that she wouldn't be fed to the wolves, so to speak, but one of those outliers.

"So.. uh... what are you two currently working on?" Peyton asked.

"Entire department is reorganising all our files." Ally answered with a sigh.

"Boring work, but needs to be done every year or so."

"Well, I'll help while I'm here." peyton said after a moment or two.

"Take some of the load off, at least." Shea dded with a heavy sigh.

"Thanks Pey." Ally commented with a light chuckle. "Any extra hands for this is a godsend, really."

Ally just sighed, and they set to work on what they were doing for awhile.

After about half an hour someone else walked into the media department and stood their ground. They looked around, locking eyes on Peyton before she was able to dive under the desk, or elsewhere to hide.

"Peyton Rivera. Come now." The newcomer said, her voice sharper than it was before.

"Else I obliterate everyone else in this room!" They called out as the head of the department was making her way to where Peyton was.

"You swear you won't harm anyone in here?" The head asked. 'Mira' looked to her adn nodded.

"I just need to clean up a little mess involving her. That is all. Once I do that, I'm out and you all won't have any problems with me after this." Was the answer the dwarf gave. The head then looked to Levi, then to ally.

"All right, give her up!" She called.

"Let that little freak go."

"Of course I did." Was the answer that Levi received.

"I have to deal with you, and I wasn't about to add that freak of nature to the mix as well." She stated.

"At least you're a natural freak. That bitch isn't." She finished with. Peyton was silent, not sure what to make of that, and swearing that she was going to get the woman in trouble after this... if Mira didn't kill her.

The dwarf just sighed before just pulling a dagger out of her pant leg, and throwing it toward Ally. She barely managed to dodge a fatal attack, with it getting stuck in her arm instead. She let out a cry of pain as si thappened, and resisted the natural urge to pull it out.

"I will kill everyone here unless you hand her over." The dwarf stated. Peyton was silent before just getting to her feet.

"... Fine." was all the brunette said, her voice rather empty.

Peyton paused by Levi and sighed as he said what he did.

"I won't miss next time." The dwarf promised.

.... One life in exchange for everyone else in here. I ... can't ignore that, or refuse it." Peyton said to Levi before taking her bracelet off, allowing herself to look as she truly was, with fur and everythign. She then handed it to Levi, hoping it might be a way to help him focus,and keep his wits about him.

She walked past the head, who actually ended up shoving her into the dwarf, before just stepping back and waiting.

"Now what?" Peyton asked, her voice curious.

"I think I will just clean this mess up right here, an right now." The dwarf answered before withdrawing a couple of blades from within her clothing. Before anyone could process that she had them in hand, she had Peyton in front of her, up against her back, and a blade at the fox's throat.

"Should I make it quick though? I dunno."

The dwarf just growled, obviously unimpressed.

"As you wish." Was all she said before doing two things. First, she tore the blade downward, causing a rather substantial slice down Peytons front. It went from her collarbone - a bit on her neck - down and into her left breast, but not any farther than that before she dropped it. As she did so, she twisted and threw the other blade she had at the guard, wondering how this would go.

She was fast, too, easily quick enough that she was able to get it all off before he could probably process it.

This was faster than anyone knew the dwarf to be, too.

Peyton let out a cry of pain as she was sliced, before being dropped to the floor as the dwarf stepped back, watching the guard to see what would happen.

The woman just rolled her eyes. She'd spin it as being for the good of the department, which likely wouldn't be entirely untrue. However, it wasn't unknown that she hated Peyton.

The dwarf, meanwhile, just rolled her eyes.

"Oh please." She stated before withdrawing another blade from within her leather jacket, and flinging it at him. It embedded itself right between his eyes, just as another security arrived.

"Mira!" The newcomer exclaimed as Ally got to her feet, the pain getting to a much more ignorable point - probably due to adrenaline. She couldn't usually deal with situations like this, not after her childhood and what happened, but she knew she had to here. She hurried over to a phone and called the medwing, putting in an order for some help, and explaining as best she could waht was needed. Once that was done, she made her way to Levi, charging her hands with some of her mana to help bolster his own, as the dwarf just looked over to the newcomer calmly.

"Wrong name." Was all she said. As the newcomer got a good look at her, she froze.

"What the hell....?" She asked, trying to make sense of what she saw, what only she could see.

"Don't worry about me." Ally told him.

"Just try and make sure your head is on straight. You flyin' off the handle would NOT be good, at all." She added after a moment or two as Izea nodded. She didn't say anything to Levi, or anyone, before just sighing and throwing a small ball at the dwarf, and Peyton subsequently. It was a paralytic, and most certainly helped in catching suspects.

The dwarf stepped back, hoping to avoid it, but certainly wasn't quick enough. As it hit the floor, and shattered, the mist covered about 2 feet of floor space, hitting both the dwarf and Peyton. The latter being the more concerning one.

After it disappated, she approached the dwarf, and cuffing her as she could with what she had... although she was reasonably certain that whatever it was that was happening to Mira could break out of them. However, it would cause damage to the body, so hopefully it wouldn't.

Ally, meanwhile, used her phone to call Sharp.

"Mira's here. She's down, med is on their way to take care of the injured, and there's a lot that happened in a short time." She told him when he answered, and before Izea was able to content him herself.

"She should be completely incapacitated for the moment." Izea assured them.

"Used one of those little bombs that I got from Research." she added before sighing.

"As for what I walked into..." She started before giving him that information.

"Boss bitch there called Mira here. Because she hates Peyton." Ally added in after Izea finished off what she was saying.
