"Aw I was hoping you would try ice skating with me, Lyle." Aria said gently, frowning a little. It went away into a gentle smile,"That's alright if you don't want to. I remember you were a bit uneasy about the idea when we first mentioned it." She took a sip of her drink as more of the talk continued. She lapsed into thought herself about how much things had changed since she had been engaged to Lyle. Thanks to Troy's advice. they had seemed to been getting along a lot better than they had in the first place. Plus, she felt she had grown a bit and changed since then. Not totally, of course. She still enjoyed having a little fun at times, but also knew more now when things were to be more serious.

Aria smiled when he said he would try it with her. "Thank you so much." she said, wanting to hug him. She didn't though, deciding to wait until she and the queen were leaving. Before following his mother out to the carriage, she went over to him and hugged him gently,"See you later." She said gently. She kissed his cheek and went to join the queen.

As Aria left with the Queen, her smile had faded. She knew Lyle wouldn't really skate with her. She knew he didn't like the outside and realised having him join her was too much to ask. She knew he thought she was just a klutz and probably not say a word if she had gotten hurt. She only sighed, putting the thoughts behind her. At least the Queen would come with her, and Troy too. She looked at the Queen,"While we are out, I was hoping you could help me find a gift for Lyle and Troy. I don't want to do books since we had just gotten a bunch of new ones."

Aria nodded quietly and looked out the window. She noticed the walls going back up for Lyle. And she was worried she has been pushed out. She wasn't going to tell the King and Queen about it. She would just have to live with it. At least the King and Queen liked her... She wished she could talk to Lyle about this, but he avoided almost all conversation with her nowadays and she didn't want to fight him.

Aria nodded quietly,"Yes, Your Highness." she admitted sadly,"Lately, I've been feeling like he's slowly pushing me away. I assume it's all in my head, that I really shouldn't worry that he might have changed his mind. But if that was the case, I don't see him dragging it out." She smiled at the Queen,"I'm sure I will feel better once I get his gift for him."

Aria let out a soft sigh,"I know your right, Your Highness....I just hate having him upset with me. Especially if it's something that's all in my head, like I thought it was." She looked out the window. Maybe things will be better after they returned.

Aria nodded quietly. Maybe she would mention something to him later... But for now she was going to put it out of her head. When they had gotten out of the carriage, Aria smiled and nodded,"Yes we will." She said, having no knowledge in what royals would wear while in the cold and glad the Queen was there to help her.

While out with the Queen, Aria had found an outfit she knew that Lyle would like. After making sure it could be made to proper arrangements and colors, she smiled, glad to get his gift figured out so fast. She had consulted the Queen on sizing and colors Lyle preferred since that was something Aria had never needed to know before. After that, she was able to focus on getting the warm clothing needed for the trip.

While out with the Queen she found a couple of smaller things, a beautiful, smart looking picture farm she was going to place a picture in, and a book Lyle had been searching for that was hard to find. She felt a surge of relief that she had managed to find something for him while out and hoped that he would like what he would be receiving from her.

At one point she looked at the Queen,"I hope he will like all this." She said, feeling a bit nervous about all of this now. She knew some of this could be hit or miss, depending on his mood, but she honestly felt overall she had done fairly well.

Aria requested a few custom made items herself and the rest were things already made. She looked over at the Queen and smiled,"I am...it's almost like shopping with my mother..." Her mother had been a maid to the Queen and had passed away when she was 18.

Aria smiled and went with her,"I'm really excited for this trip." She said,"It's been such a while since we've seen Troy. I can't wait to try ice skating. I'll have to make sure I'm really careful when I do." She went with the Queen into the shoe store and started to look around at the warm boots there. She wasn't sure what kind of boots she would go for. She just knew they had to be warm and waterproof. After trying on a few and having a pair or two chosen, she went about looking at other shoes while the Queen was still choosing her boots. While there, she saw a beautiful pair of shoes that would match her favorite gown.
