(I think Allen had too much tea.. ^^')

Allen was quiet for a moment until he heard Kaneko. He lightly leaned against the chair he had sat in the other day and placed a hand on his head. "Yeah.. Couldn't sleep.." He voice apologetically in case he had started her. "I thought I sensed something. But there's no one here but us." He voiced quietly.

The tea was too strong. lol

He couldn't sleep? He must be sicker than she thought. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Allen." She said, approaching him and resting a hand on his shoulder. "I guess you're still not feeling too good huh? Did...did the tea help any?" Maybe it was too soon to tell. Sensed something? Well, Kaneko glanced towards the front door and pouted. Maybe something or someone was out there. Her father would send someone after her wouldn't he?

Allen nodded lightly to her question and offered her a small smile. "Believe me, it's helping a bit more than it appears." He said quietly. Allen kept 'looking' in the direction of the front door. Somehow, that image of the boy felt like a message. Whether he was hallucinating or not, and it bothered him. "I need my coat, so I can go outside. Just for a minute to check something." He said to her quietly.

"Oh...that's good, I'm glad to hear it." Kaneko answered. At least it was helping. He still looked ill though and she wished he would be in bed, but she was also glad that he was walking around a bit. When he explained to her that he wished to step out for a while, she grew concerned. It was cold out, he'd only get sicker if he was outside. What if someone saw him? She had to trust him though, she didn't want to keep him locked up inside the cabin. Some fresh air would probably help, as long as it was quick. "Alright then. I'll go and get it for you." Kaneko answered and quickly left to pick up his coat. It had been cleaned and put away in the closet once more. Picking it up, she made her way back to Allen, helping him put the coat on. "Would you like me to accompany you?" She asked, but she had a feeling he wanted to be alone right now.

Allen could hear the worry in her voice, and he loved her more for it. She probably wanted him in bed, but knew it'd do him a little bit of good to be up and around a bit. The cold air wouldn't make him anymore sick than he already was, that was one vampire thing he didn't mind. Getting sick wasn't the same as humans did, and there were other things to worry about. But.. He needed to know if it was the fever talking or if this place meant something to him when he was a human. He listened to the sound of her feet moving about and gently took her hand when she spoke. "If you'd like." He said quietly.

(so i've been thinking.. they're up north somewhere, and allen grew up in the north even though he doesn't remember.. what would think of the likely hood of them living in the same cabin now, that he lived in when he was much younger? O.o)

It made her happy to hear him say she could if she wanted to. Of course she wanted to, she would worry if she let him head out on his own. Maybe it was silly of her to be so worried about him all the time. He was a vampire, they were much better than humans. They were stronger, smarter, and immune to many things. That's what she thought anyway. "Of course I'd like to Allen. I'll be a worried wreck if I let you go on your own." Kaneko admitted, tucking some of her hair behind her ear and gently squeezing his hand. What did he want to see out there anyway? Was someone really outside watching them? If that were the case, why hadn't they acted by now?

The chances are slim. However that would explain the visions he's been having. Maybe Kaneko can find something, like pictures or something that can be links to his past?

yeah it just kind of hit me ^^' this is when my Oc's start acting on their own and i'm forced to go with it xD
her finding pictures would be nice. maybe she finds them while cleaning the house? O.o

Allen smiled some when she voiced her concern of letting him go alone. It was sweet, and he kind of understood. He really didn't like it when she went anywhere without him. Of course, he thought he was just being possessive. It was nice to hear she felt the same way, whether he was ill or not. "Are you wearing a jacket?" He asked curiously, wanting to check before they went outside together. He'd be alright, but he didn't want to risk her getting sick because of him. Or at all really.

No worries. heh It's totally fine, I'm really curious to see where this goes.
Maybe they're like, hidden in places. Maybe it's not a photo album but like...pictures just on the floor as if they had fallen out and were left behind?

There was that smile she so often looked forward to seeing. Approval. It made her feel all warm inside, just knowing that he didn't think her to be suffocating. "Well I'm wearing a sweater, but I suppose a sweater won't do the job huh?" She asked and chuckled. "One sec." Kaneko left to grab and put on her brown jacket then walked back and took his hand once more. "Okay I'm ready now. Let's go get some fresh air." She told him. She was very curious to see what they found out there, if they even found anything.

Allen smirked lightly when she debated whether a sweater alone would keep her warm. He waited patiently and gave her hand a light squeeze when he felt her warm skin against his and nodded his head lightly. He then went and opened the door for them and led her outside. The cold air hitting his sensitive and unnaturally warm skin made him want to turn and go back inside, but didn't. It felt good against his eyes though, for a moment. Allen smelled some smaller animals nearby but nothing that would pose as a threat. Slowly, and calmly, after Kaneko had locked the door behind them, he began to lead her away from the house, but made sure not to wander too far before stopping and lifting his head. Nothing. No vision of the boy or the other people he had seen. What the hell?

When the cold air hit them, she shivered and feared this really wasn't a good idea. She'd probably get sick and Allen would only get sicker. However, there was no turning back. He wanted to get some fresh air, to check something he said and that was fine. Making sure to lock the door behind her, Kaneko walked with Allen who was leading her away from the house. Not too far, but still far enough. Then he stopped. In front of them was nothing of real interest, just small animals like squirrels and rabbits. What was he wanting to check? Was someone here? She listened carefully for any sounds that would belong to a person. Footsteps, twigs being stepped on or a gun being fired. However, she didn't hear anything of the sort at the moment.

Allen sighed softly after a moment longer and lowered his head. "There's nothing here.." He murmured, feeling rather down in spirits. He placed a hand on his head, but not because of any pain. He just didn't understand what was going on. He lowered his hand and gave Kaneko's hand a light squeeze. "Come, let's go back inside before you catch cold." He said quietly, offering her an apologetic smile. He felt bad for bringing her out here now. Only to find nothing.

Kaneko frowned. "Well that's not true Allen. There's a rabbit just up ahead. Oh...w-well it just hopped away but there was a squirrel around here somewhere too." She said, trying to cheer him up. He seemed sad. Was he really looking for something? She returned the light squeeze and started walking with him back towards the cabin. "What were you searching for?" She asked him curiously. Maybe it was none of her business though. Maybe he didn't want to talk about it. "Umm.." Thinking of how to change the subject, she glanced over at him. "H-how are you feeling? Still feel like a furnace?" Kaneko asked him. The ground crunching softly beneath their footsteps.

True, there were the animals around them.. But not what he came out here for. Allen thought about her question as she began to lead him back to the hut. How would she react to him seeing visions? He knew where believe him, but.. What if she grew worried? He shook his head lightly and lifted his head some. "This air has helped me cool off a bit.." He answered calmly, knowing it wouldn't last long enough to bring relief. It was enough though, for now.

Once they were back inside, he leaned against the wall briefly and decided to tell her what was bothering him. "I'm blind.. Yet I've been seeing visions recently.. Ever since the fever came.. A boy who looks like me, and two adults.. I was following the boy when I came to the living room, and I thought going outside would make me see him again.."

He had cooled off. Well...cold weather would do that to you. Obviously. It was a good idea to stay indoors though. They could always go for quick walks whenever he wanted to, nothing wrong with wanting to get some fresh air. Once inside the warm cabin, Kaneko focused on locking the door and looked at him. Visions? That was rather odd. The more he told her, the stranger they sounded. So...he was seeing a boy that looked like him and two adults? Who were the adults? Where they his parents? Was this a side effect due to the fever?

"So you're seeing visions?" She asked him. Kaneko reached over and took his hand then led him to the couch where they could sit and talk for a little bit. "This boy..did he run outside?" She asked him. So he wanted to go outside to check if he could see the boy again? What did these visions mean though? Were they trying to tell him something?

Allen slowly followed her over to the couch as she led him, and say down. He lowered his gaze as she spoke, nodding lightly. "It could just be the fever..or the tea.. But I don't really remember my childhood so maybe.. " He sighed quietly and lowered his head until his forehead was gently leaning against her shoulder and He was somewhat slouching. "This place just feels familiar.. somehow.." He murmured softly .

Kaneko wrapped an arms around his shoulders and lightly rested her hand on his forehead. He was warm still. Was the tea helping at all? What if it wasn't? "How strange.." She said quietly, fixing his hair. "You are really troubled by this aren't you?" Kaneko asked. The way he was slouching, clearly he was upset about this. Maybe not angry but, concerned and she was a little worried as well. What did these visions mean? Did they even mean anything at all? Maybe Allen was right and they were just side effects from the fever or the tea. "Well let's focus on getting you better first. If these visions continue after you're better, then we'll go from there." She suggested quietly.

Allen listened quietly to her words, not able to really keep his milky eyes open properly. If allowed to, he could fall asleep right here, but he was sure Kaneko would lead him back to the bedroom. He nodded lightly at her suggestion and slowly lifted his head. She was right, about both. He was really troubled by this, but he needed to get better. Then he could look into it, if it was still troubling him.

"We'll figure this out together. But first we'll get you all better." Kaneko said, noticing that he was getting tired. "Come on, let's get you to bed so you can sleep. You look pretty tired." Carefully, she helped him stand and led him back to the room to get him back into bed. Normally she would tuck him in but she didn't want him burning up any more. Kaneko fluffed his pillow and yawned softly. "Get some sleep Allen, perhaps you'll feel better when you wake up." She had to go wash the dishes but maybe afterwards she'd treat herself to a quick nap.

Allen quietly listened to her words, and followed her back to the bedroom like a child getting over a cold, when they really don't have the engery to do much. So, without arguing he allowed her to lead him and and curled up on the bed once he felt the softness of the flitted sheet beneath him. He was tired.. and it didn't take him too long to fall asleep, listening to her footsteps as she left the room to tend to other things. He'd sleep quite sometime before waking.

Kaneko busied herself washing the dishes and when she was finished, she went and hung mini candy canes on the small tree she had put up for the holiday. It was tempting to just eat one but she knew better than to eat sweets right now. She was tired, but she threw the empty box away and then went to cleaning the cabin. Underneath the wooden tv stand, she swept something out. "Huh? What's this?" Bending down, she picked up the plastic square and turned it over. It was a photo?! A young boy with his...parents. She assumed the adults were the parents. "Wait...Allen said he saw a boy and two adults. Did they perhaps...used to live here?" Setting the broom up against the tv stand, she sat down on the couch and stared at the photo. She wished she could show Allen. Should she tell him or should she wait until he was better?
