He nodded. "Yeah. Docs say im a severe case too" He got up yawning

"I think i may need a nap after all that" he grinned and took the man's hand. He quite enjoyed the feeling of Ryker's larger hand over his. It was..comforting to say the least.

"So...did your little trip into the woods answer your question?" he looked up stretching out his wings.

"Well...for what its worth, im glad your still alive" he smiled walking with the man. His shirt ruffled int he breeze, the breeze serving only to tangle his hair around his horns more.

He grumbled trying to pick it out lamenting that he didnt have a brush or a comb. He mumbled something about his hair being a pain in the rear before finally giving up and leaving the mess for later.

"Maybe we can sleep in a bed tonight" he looked up wanting to fill the silence between them.

"More stuff for me?" he asked not sure what he meant. He looked to the sky seeing the dark clouds.

"Storm it smells like" He frowned and sighed. "I was hoping for a sunny day"

He looked to Ryker. "What kind of fish was that anyways?"

"Well it looks like they like soft chewy candies" he laughed and looked at him.

"I do feel more than better after eating it." he thought about it. He considered it before speaking.

"Maybe we could catch more?" he looked up as he walked. "How much further?" He felt like he had been walking for hours.

He looked and groaned. "Its so far away" he whined.

"Well im pretty good at fishing but i dont use a pole" he raised his tail. "I may be fragile but im quick"

He grinned and stretched.

"I dont wanna walk all that way" he whined only joking. He skpped ahead a bti so he could walk backwards to look at ryker.

"I dont mind doing the fishing. Its the least i can do for you saving my life" he looked at him smiling, still amazed the man stayed to save him.

"I like you. a lot. im not afraid of your" he smiled his golden eyes sparkling.

"Ill try not to die, but at least its more likely its not going to be you fault" he chuckled and did a little skip turning around closing his eyes.

He knew one day his condition would get him killed, especially since he was on the run from his witch of a mother. He didnt want ryker to see how pained his face was. How sad he really was, lonely. He didnt want to die, but he knew his illness would be the death of him and he had to stifle tears.

He then stopped watching Ryker walk ahead of him. He looked to the ground.

"I just have...a lot going on okay?" his voice wavered and he wanted to turn away.

He bit his lip hard enough one of his fangs cut into it as he tried his hardest not to cry.

"No i cant cry. Crying is weakness and smudges makeup" he sniffled and wiped his mouth wincing slightly.

"I-im okay..i just...im okay" he lied. he wasnt sure where to start. What would he say? How could he say anything without breaking down into hysterical sobbing?

"I..." his voice caught in his throat and he went quiet.

He continued to walk, though silently. He kept his eyes low.

The hour passed slowly...silently. The only sound after that hour from eke was his stomach growling. Still...the boy said nothing. He just put a candy in his mouth.
