Ryker didn't need to wake Aly, as the aroma did it for him.

And she made her way to the kitchen before Ryker came back downstairs.

"Something smells divine." she commented.

"Omelets?" she asked.

"Why, Eke, they smell wonderful!" she exclaimed.

"What's the occasion?" she asked with a light giggle.

"Some juice, please." Aly replied.

"Whatever is in the fridge." she added.

"...so, is Ryker back?" she asked.

"And if so, how'd his little date go?" she asked him further.

"Or have you seen him yet?"

Aly just smiled.

"Good." she replied.

"That's good." she said.

"I haven't known him as long as you, but even -I- could see that he needed someone like that in his life." she went on.

"....." she was then silent, before making her way to Eke, stepping up behind him, and kissing his cheek.

"It was nice last night, falling asleep with you after eating all that Chinese food." she told him.

Aly just giggled.

"That's sweet." she said.

"I'm sure everything'll work out." she told him.

"We'll make sure of it." she went on.

"After all, we have each other." she said further.

"And together, we'll be able to survive ANYTHING."

"...." Aly was silent, before placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Eke..." she said.

"Whether or not you knew your father... he still matters." she told him.

"We'll save him." she said.

"He deserves to rest in peace, and you deserve to know he's resting in peace."

Again, Aly kissed his cheek, before before Ryker came downstairs from his shower.

"Mmmm, smells good down here." he said.

"Smells like a good start to a morning." he added.

He then smiled at the two dragons, before stretching his arms up a little.

"Hello you two."

"Mmmm, eggs'n'coffee." Ryker said.

"And I smell hashbrowns as well!" he added.

"They DO smell amazing." Aly agreed, as Ryker sat down at the table.

"All right, then!' he said.

"Sounds like everyone's having a good morning, at least." he commented.

"How was your evening?" Aly asked him.

"Fantastic." Ryker responded dreamily.

Ryker paused for a moment, almost frozen.

"I... uh..." he stammered.

"Uh... w-well..." he said further, before sighing heavily.

"Yeah. Yeah, I suppose so." he admitted.

This caused Aly to just laugh a little.

"That's so sweet!" she exclaimed.

"And no, I'm not working." Ryker told Eke. "With this storm going on, work's been suspended until it clears." he added with a smirk and a wink.

Aly was silent, before she chuckled softly.

"Oh?" Ryker asked.

"Bus or taxi? Why not the car?" he asked.

"I can drive you there."[ he said further.

"Or you wanna do this alone?"

Ryker just laughed.

"Fair." he said.

"And yeah, remember? I snagged a car earlier." he went on.

"We needed one, so I got it." he shrugged.

"Just lemme know when you wanna head out."
