Hal just shook his head.

"Well, looks like they treated you well, there." he said.

"As I expected." he commented.

"I'm sorry." he apologised.

"I truly did not mean for that to happen this way, or to leave you there for so long." he admitted.

"But that was the best option... in terms of... that happening." he clarified.

"You being there for so long is... completely on me." he admitted.

Hal just sighed.

"...crap." he muttered.

"You weren't around when Erica fixed everything that Eri did..." he said.

"Oh my." he mumbled.

"...and Erica is NOT herself right now." he went on.

"Great." he grumbled.

"THIS is a mess..."

"Ah, see, that's an issue." Hal told her.

"Angela is not in the medical wing." he said.

"Angela is with Erica, at Erica's house." he told her.

"At least, I assume so. I was not informed otherwise." he continued.

He then took out his cell phone and texted Angela.

Are you still with Erica? he sent to her.

"........" Hal was silent, before sighing heavily.

"This... this is..." he mumbled, before just slamming his fist into the nearest wall.

"Damn it ALL!" he yelled.

Hazel's being taken to the med wing. If you can find someone to be with Erica, do so. And Hazel's going to be not herself. She's still suffering from what Eri did, and Erica's in no condition to fix her. he then texted.

"So much for lunch." he then said to himself, turning and marching back to his office.

"More shit to stress over." he snarled to the air.

Unsurprisingly, Uriel was not around.

Odds were that he went back up to try and figure out what his readings (or lack thereof) meant.

Not that that was shocking or anything, she knew it would be a longshot to hope he was still around.

Just meant that she would need to call Zeke.

She did have a point with thinking he could use a bit of a break. He'd been spearheading the search for Lilim almost nonstop, and coupling that with him trying to keep up on his regular work was starting to take a toll on him.

If he wasn't careful, he'd stress himself to paralyzing levels of anxiety.

She was waiting for about a minute, before a response was sent.

Yeah, sure. he sent.

Something tells me I might need a break, anyway. he then sent further.

Gimme about 5 minutes. Unless I need to be there ASAP. the next text added.

Whenever you can get here. Just make sure it's ASAP. Hal responded.

Sure enough, about 5 minutes later, Zeke knocked on the door, and Angela let him in.

And she could see that he was looking... a bit haggard, to understate it.

"Hey." he greeted her.

"Want me to babysit Erica for a bit?" he asked.

"Because I can do that." he told her with a small smile and a thumbs-up.

Zeke nodded.

"Yeah, sure." he replied.

Angela was then surrounded by white mana, and appeared by the Unit, where she made her way to security.

When she stepped in, she was greeted by Jake, who made sure she was herself.

"In you go." he told her. buzzing her in.

As she was making her way through the mess of they system, someone was making their way towards her department, looking at the papers that he had clipped together and sighing.

"Hope this is all right." he said.

He then went through the doors to Brie's area, and smiled.

"Hi, I'm-" he started to say, before pausing suddenly.

And looking at her.

...specifically, the ethereal spirits he could see above her head.

"....ah!" Levi exclaimed.

"Ah yes, the new receptionist for R&D." he said.

"Nice... to finally meet you." he said further.

"...though, I can tell that you're not alone." he went on.

"Seems we share something in common already."
