Brie approached the door and knocked, wondering if he was home. She received a text from her friend, telling her that she wasn't safe, that she was found. and it was known that she wasn't exactly one that was as trustworthy as it was initially believed.
So she had to speed things up.
As a result she was knocking on his door, and thought she knew the perefcet way to get him to leave with her, but knew he could always reject it.
