I feel like I'd have trouble remembering the genders of nouns, but I guess I'd really have to try to learn a language with gendered nouns to know for sure

@Kay: I would've kicked her out already honestly
If you don't wear a mask out in public I don't want to live with you since you end up being a threat to my health
Do you your part and pay your half of whatever bills or rent needs to be paid

we had to learn french in elementary/middle school 'cause we're canada and it's mandatory
there are some general rules for gendered nouns like if it ends in -e it is usually female except if it's -age then it's male like fromage (cheese)
that's all i remember LMAO

I eventually did realize those memes about closing your eyes was accurate to reading french I swear half the letters in the language don't need to exist at this point

I took some Spanish, but in my second year of Spanish our teacher went on maternity leave and we had a substitute teacher who didn't know Spanish. We learned nothing and everyone failed the final exam, but I'm pretty sure they ended up curving our grades since obviously no one was happy with that. The substitute expected us to learn from the textbook... the textbook that was for classroom use... to be used with an instructor...
