but since your primary relationship is penpals first i'm guessing it's not so weird since you don't normally chat outside of letters to begin with?

Occasionally I get some of them a little confused because they have the same first name but usually I can tell from the letter itself who it actually is so no real mistakes so far.
Right most of these are penpals first and friends second. I’ve tried to stay in contact with some of my ‘real life’ friends using letters but it usually doesn’t stick for long.
@pachi: It is! I usually end up with much longer in-depth conversations because you’re taking the time to write out more rather than quickly throw out a comment haha.

My handwriting is nice but a little on the messy side. Calligraphy does not equal super nice handwriting.

I have an address book to keep track of the addresses and the online point of contact.
I have a box with dividers I made for it to keep the previous letters organized by penpal but every so often I ‘archive’ those to a more mixed up box by tying them up in bundles with ribbon because ~aesthetic~ loool

my childhood room has a bunch of boxes/drawers full of stuff like that, i wish i had some of it w me during all the quarantine time this year
(i have a sufficient amt of art supplies now tho so tbh i might just be a hoarder lol)
