We had some rain yesterday.
Yeah, it finally rained here too... we got a lot of water over the last couple of days - more than we've had in months and months
Lol the power almost went out at the store.
Sorry... ran outside to see what damage the rain might have done to the garden and got a little caught up.
So you had some pretty serious storms recently. What came through here wasn't like that - it was just a steady, good rain. We probably got 4"... which is a lot, especially given how little rain we've had recently. All kinds of stuff was knocked out of the trees, etc. :3

Honestly it didn't seem that hard of a rain, but yeah it nearly knocked out our power. Lol I was mid transaction when the power briefly flicked off. Luckily it didn't hurt the woman's purchase.
I think you've had more rain that we have recently, but still... it doesn't seem to take much to flicker the power in rain around here...

Yeah, I bet. It's not like you could have done anything to prevent it from happening though. It sounds like it was the barest of flickers if the transaction wasn't affected. Just enough to notice...

That sounds like a good day... but nothing specific planned other than D&D, huh? Yeah, I get that... I wish I didn't have to do this work right now, tbh, but I've procrastinated getting it done for quite long enough... *sigh*
Lol my next outing is on Thursday evening. Friends and I are going to see the Doctor Strange movie.
There's a (new) Dr. Strange movie? I didn't know that (but then again, I don't frequent movies any more, or keep up with actors, etc., so it shouldn't really be a surprise)...
