I agree with you about the cow versus chicken thing, btw. Chickens just seem too frantic to want that to be my primary state of awareness. Cows seem more mellow... more zen - and it's not like a coyote is going to steal it when it's sleeping! XD
@Wildfire: lol, my thought process with a cow is that I'd have fewer predators too.

@Koah: Yes, actually my day is being weirdly productive given the strange hours of sleep I got last night. I did some shopping, ran an errand, and am now in the process of discovering I have far more laundry to do than I thought. I'm also trying to convince the boys to decorate the tree that is currently sitting naked in the middle of our living room - lol!

I really need to decorate our tree too! lol. It's got one string of lights on it. So at least we have a bit of cheer. But not enough. I need super glue to fix a couple of old ornaments.
The only 'big' chore I want to do today is clean my bathroom.
Turns out my niece stole my nice hair straightener, so I'm going to steal the clothes she left behind. XD

so the heater usually will not come on until...much later.
especially since it's going to be 60 today, it thinks it's super warm when it's not.

I'm doing ok, thanks. I have had an early, busy, and productive day but I'm starting to fade now... yet, I'm kind of "punchy" too?? I think if I stop moving for too long that will be the end of my productive day (so I'm probably going to be sporadic with replies here - at least for a while)...
