"...." she was met with a bit of an extended silence, before Ty spoke.

"...of course." he said.

"Things have to be as miserable as possible right now." he said further.

"Quarantine? Okay then. Noted." he continued, sounding a little more curt than usual. Noticeably so.

"So what is it? The plague? Ebola? Both?" he asked her.

"No, don't tell me, it's even worse. It's the worse case scenario, isn't it? Are we all dead?"

Angela bit her lip slightly before sighing, heavily.

".... Ourobourous." She answered honestly.

"I'm trying to contain it, I have the barriers up, and I am working to track down everyone who MAY have had contact with someone, who had contact with Lunet, but I can'g guarantee I'll get everyone." She told him.

"I've already told Hal. When it comes to medical stuff, I official overrule you." She added, just so he knew. "But... I'm really hoping I don't need it.

"However, it might be worthwhile to consider a lockdown of the building."

"We only have one case of it so far. No one else has even shown signs so far." She told him.

"I'm not sure this is going to be a huge issue... but I'm still taking precautions JUST in case."

"Uh-huh." Ty responded.

Then, before she heard the phone call end, she swore she heard him mutter something. She wasn't quite sure, but she thought she heard the start of 'not like I'm worth taking care of, anyway', or something along those lines.

But before she could say anything it had been ended.

And then then heard the P.A. System, with Ty's voice over it.

"We're under lockdown. Nobody gets in or out." he announced.

"Have fun." he finished.

Angela sighed, heavily, as she heard Ty's voice.

"For the love of..." She muttered.

"What has gotten into his head?" She wondered as she got to her feet. Meanwhile, Hazel made her way throught he building and up to where she knew Ty was. She'd just been talking to him earlier in the day.

"Hey, Tyson?" She called as she knocked on the door, poking her head in. She realised it was pointless, he was one of the only people in the building she couldn't see while blinded, but it was a habit.

Ty was half-slumped down on the desk, mostly just staring at the wall and letting his mind drift.

He debated not acknowledging Hazel, but then realised that might not go so well.

So he looked over towards her.

"...yeah?" he asked. "What is it?" he asked further.

"We're in lockdown because of something in the medical wing, if you're asking about THAT." he then added.

"Not what I wanted to ask about." Hazel answered as she made her way into the room proper and closed the door.

"... I wanted to ask about you." She added as she stepped up to the desk a bit. She was keeping her distance a little, as she realised that it might not go too well if she got too close.

"Are you doing all right?" She asked, her voice curious, concerned.

"I'd say I'm more of one than you, but let's not have a dick measuring contest in regards to that." She added.

"If I can hold it together to not become a pit of despair, then you can to. I know you have a ton of hell in your past, and I get that." She continued.

"I was with that elf for longer than you've been alive. Let's NOT have a competition of who has the worst history." She paused a moment, sighing.

"The long and short of it is if THIS mess can hold it together, why can't you?"

"I know." he said.

"I know you've had it worse." he told her.

"And I know you're strong for keeping it together, too." he went on.

"I'm doing what I can." he continued.

"Hal left me in charge here, so I at least owe it to him to keep this place from completely falling apart."

"..." he was then silent again, before she heard him speak, more quietly.

"Please forgive me." he told her, his voice seemingly strained now, but sounding more like himself. "I don't know why I'm acting like this... I can't help it... just keep me working. Keep me doing my job." he went on.

"...ignore what I say... I don't mean it..." he finished.

"Perhaps if you're helping me, I won't let down Hal like I do everyone else." he then lamented, sounding like he had before.

"Haven't really talked to her in a couple days. Been here pretty much non-stop." he admitted, thinking about it.

"Might be worthwhile to give her a ring." She commented. "Call her, make sure she's doing all right."

With that, he took out his cell phone, and called Miki.

Hazel watched as they had a brief conversation, and then Ty ended the call.

"Well, she's now concerned because of this lockdown." he said, his tone depressive.

"...but otherwise, she says she's fine." he finished, relief in his tone.

"Just need to make sure the whole building doesn't die on me now..." he then mumbled defeatedly.
