"Well, you're here now." he said.

"Might as well TRY." he mumbled, before buzzing Ty.

"Hey, boss. Weird situation, but... a strange woman managed to make it through the barrier, has amnesia, and needs help." he said.

Meanwhile, on the other side, both Ty and Hazel heard what Jake had said.

"...she made it THROUGH the barrier?" Ty asked.

"Yep." Jake responded. "Said it hurt like hell, but she did it."

Hazel was silent for a moment.

"That... that's alarming." She commented.

"That barrier is like a stone wall. How could someone walk through it?" She wondered.

"... walk through it and survive, rather." She knew that neither of them knew it, and that they realised she was aware of that, but it was still a valid question.

"But she says she needs help." he said.

"Can you escort her to the office?" Ty asked.

"We're on our way." Jake responded, before ending the call.

"Someone made it THROUGH that barrier. And lived."

"That's......" Hazel startted before shaking her head. She really had no words for this situation, and couldn't hope to come up with anything, either.

She was stunned. Pure and simple.

How someone could make it through there was unbelievable, and yet here we were. Even Zeke and his dad had a hard time with it.

Meanwhile, Jake and the woman were making their way to the office, with Jake subtly darting his tongue out. And not being able to make heads or tails of what it is he was sensing.

"Can you remember anything about yourself at all?" he asked.

"Even any sort of name?"

"Do you want me to clear out?" She asked. "Official business and all."

She paused a moment, thinking hard, before shaking her head.

"I feel like I've been asleep, hidden away from the world." She told him honestly.

"However, I don't know why, but I know I haven't been." She continued before sighing.

"It's oh so confusing, and most certainly not fun. Also, that electricity is still lingering. You have lovely barriers, assuming that's what I walked through."

"I admit, I've been feeling more like myself sense... that night." he told her.

"Yeah. Barriers." he confirmed.

"Strong ones. The fact you made it through is... a feat it and of itself." he told her.

"Also... that's a strange feeling to have..." he mumbled. "Interesting..."

When Jake heard that, he suppressed a heavy sigh.

'...figures he's not here when that could've been really handy...' he thought, as they reached the office, where the door was wide open, Hazel having done so to show they could just walk in.

Which they did.

"Hello there." Ty greeted her.

"Agent Tyson King." he introduced himself.

"Temporary head of The Unit, San Diego branch, while the real Head is away on business."

"What do I know or remember?" She asked before pausing, sighing again.

"Not much, I admit. I recognise my own face, but I can't even put a name." She told him before outlining everything she'd told Jake.

Once she'd told them everything, Ty leaned back in his seat and thought about it.

"Strange..." he said.

"Well, there is clearly more to this than there seems." he commented. "Otherwise you wouldn't be here... in this building." he reasoned.

"We can offer you sanctuary, food, and shelter." he told her.

"And whatever we can do to help this memory issue."

"So much so, that if it slips out, we face a very real chance of immense global casualties." he continued.

"It's a disease with a 100% death rate."

"However, THIS instance is more worrying, because it hasn't even been that long since the last outbreak." he told her.

"..." he was then silent, before checking the open door to see if anyone was there. When he saw or heard nothing, he sighed.

"Ouroboros." he revealed.

"ONE case. And the medical bay is under strict quarantine for it."

"However, we WILL try and help you recover your memories." he promised.
