Silver purred happily as he licked the hot chocolate off her finger. As he did so, his purring got a bit louder, and it intermingled with his breathing, making a kind of purring-grunt noise.
A few minutes later, Jaden returned, and put all the cat stuff on a nearby chair.
"Got it all." he told her.
"Should be everything." he said.
"I'll set it up now, just so you can focus on getting warm and such." he then added.

Desiree nodded.
"thanks, Jaden." She said with a soft smile as she dipped a finger in again, with a bit more this time, and let Silver lick it up, again.
"Means a lot that you're letting me crash here again." she said, her voice a bit quiet. She wasn't feeling the best, her breathing was a bit pained, but it wasn't anything to serious. At least not for the moment, if only just because it was very easy to believe that it was all because of the events of the day
Jaden narrowed his eyes for a moment, and then sighed.
"Yeah, sure." he said.
"Again, feel free to stay here as long as you like." he told her.
"This place is... well... pretty big." he commented.
"Honestly... felt a bit empty without you here..." he then admitted.
"But... uh... yeah, right, anyway." he added quickly.
"I assume you'll probably call this an early night?" he asked her.
"Yeah, sure." he said.
"Again, feel free to stay here as long as you like." he told her.
"This place is... well... pretty big." he commented.

"Yeah. It was weird living on my own again." She commented after a few seconds.
"And...I Dunno.." She then said.
"I... I don't even know if I'll be able to sleep on my own, admittedly...."

"Hm. Well... I..." he muttered further, his face turning a bit red now.
"MY bed IS... a king-size...." he went on.
"If you want, you can sleep under the covers, and I can sleep on them." he suggested.
"If it'll help to... like... have another body or something..." he added, face still turning redder and redder.
"I see." he said.

"Hm. Well... I..." he muttered further, his face turning a bit red now.

"Please.. .just... just someone I can trust..." She responded with, her voice quiet.
"I ... that was... just..." She paused and shook her head. She couldn't say what it was that she needed to say, strictly because of the fact that it was quite an event.
Jaden nodded.
"I... I understand." he said.
"I'll do whatever I can to help." he told her.
"Just let me know when you feel you want to get some sleep." he went on.
"I can go to bed anytime, really." he added with a small shrug.
And just as he finished that, Silver yawned.

Desiree was silent for a few seconds before nodding, and petting the kitty that was curled up with her.
"We're warming up, at least." She then said.
"It's a work in progress thing." She added after a moment before sighing.
"and... thank you... I just... I didn't know where else I could go for the moment... I know that Kalin and Rene are out of the country for a vacation for the moment, so... I had no I couldn't go there... so... so thank you."

"I still have the PJs that you used last time you were here." he told her.

"I'll follow in a few minutes." She added, knowing that there wasn't much she could do for the moment overall. She had to get to where the tub was, but she wasn't in the biggest hurry.
"Hey there pussycat." She said, looking to Silver.
"Wanna lemme go?" She asked, knowing that he likedly wouldn't really answer her.
Jaden had left to get done what he said, and Silver looked up at Desiree when she asked her question.
He responded with a growl.
But it was a low and quiet one. Not one that denoted anger or danger. More... annoyance. It was pretty much his way of saying 'No... but you have to go anyway, don't you?'

Desiree just laughed lightly before scooping the kitty close and getting to her feet.
"You're far too cute, Silver." She commented, scratching him behind the ears while walking down to the room she was aiming to get at.
Just as she approached the bathroom, Jaden stepped out.
"PJs and towels are in there." he told her.
"Same stuff applies." he went on.
"Use anything in there, tub or shower is your choice, blah blah blah." he said.
"You keeping the headphones in there again?" he asked.
"Or want to have them somewhere... well... drier?" he asked further.

Desiree paused for a split second before carefully taking them off of her head.

He then gave her a thumbs-up, and they parted ways.
He made his way to the den where he sat the headphones down in the middle of the coffee table in the center of the den. She'd be able to see them there easily.
He then went to the kitchen, grabbed the sushi in the fridge, and decided to eat.
He was hungry, and it was best to eat it as quickly as possible... for several reasons.

Desiree was there, in the tub, for about an hour before she resurfaced. As she did so, she had the pajama top still undone, and he could see the rbuising along her torso.
"Ow." was all she said after a moment with a sigh as she sat down on the couch next to him.
"Hi."
Jaden's first reaction was to blush a little when he saw that her top was undone.
His second (and quick) reaction was to shake it off and notice her bruises.
"....those don't look good..." he commented.
"Like... at all." he said.
"Maybe we should get Rene to look at them." he suggested.
"When are he and Kalin due back from Vacation, anyway...?" he then wondered aloud.
