Desiree nodded, but didn't say anything as she reached for her headset. There wasn't anything she wanted to say, or felt she needed to. She knew she was safe there, and she knew that she was with someone she coudl trust - that's why she went there in the first place.
Granted, she wasn't thrilleda bout having to wait out in the blizzard for three hours, but at least her wind was able to help decrease the amount of the cold around her. She'd been able to create something akin to a bubble of warmer air around her.
It was enough to stop her and Silver from freezing to death, at least.
And it was completely worth it to be there, waiting, for so long. Jaden was someone she could rely on, and she knew that.
"And I'm sorry..." Jaden then said.
"It seemed like you had been waiting there for a while." he commented.
"I'm sorry you had to do that." he continued.
He was then silent for a moment, and sighed quietly.
"I suppose Rene should check you as well, make sure you didn't catch anything from being out there." he suggested.
"And maybe get Silver to a vet for a checkup." he then added.

"I'm pretty sure we're all right." Desiree said with a light laugh as Silver came and curled up in her lap.
"I was able to create a bubble of air around us that was a bit warmer than elsewhere." She added.
"But it's all right, really. It was worth it for somewhere I can trust."
Jaden just smiled softly.
"I'm glad I'm someone you can trust." he said.
"I realize that, when we met, that was something that was NOT easily earned." he went on.
"But the fact that I earned it, and have retained it, is an honour." he continued.
"Why didn't you call?" he then asked.
"I know you have another phone." he went on.
"Or... did something happen to THAT one as well?" he asked her.

"TV? Movie? Anything to eat or whatever?" he offered, as they both heard Silver's purr fill the immediate vicinity.

"Yeah... let... let's see what's on, hey?" She asked, not entirely too sure what it was that she expected to be on, but at least there should be something - at least she hoped that there was something on.

He then picked up the remote, and started to flip through the channels.
"Huh." he muttered.
"Seems there's a marathon of that live-action Sabrina show from the 90's." he commented.
"Also... some horror flicks... some Godzilla stuff.... seems there's a bit of everything." he went on.
"Heh, and of course I see a bunch of Christmas specials." he chuckled.
"See anything you like?" he then asked her.
He then picked up the remote, and started to flip through the channels.
"Huh." he muttered.

"I mean, the special effects for him have clearly shown their age, but I loved him as a character." he continued.

"Want me to order a pizza?" he asked.
"Can be here in no time, just like before." he told her.
"I dunno... seems appropriate to have one while watching a show marathon." he added with a shrug.

Desiree just fchuckled lightly, seeming to be in slightly better spirits than she had been when Jaden had found her outside in the snow.
"That it does." She said. There was still a forced happiness to her voice, it wasn't hard to tell, but it was also not hard to tell that it since she was at least TRYING to appear happy, she was trying to move past it - and she trusted him.
"So sure. I assume you remember what kind of things I like on pizza?"

She just hadn't had the money since, even with the generous 'donation' from her brother - whom she hadn't spoken to since, either.
Jaden just gave her a thumbs up, and made the order.
Sure enough, about 20 minutes later, just as they finished the episode they were on, the order arrived and Jaden paid for it. When the mana dissipated, the smell of the pizza filled the room.
Which got Silver's attention quickly.
He got up from where he was, and started sniffing the air wildly.

Desiree just chuckled as she reigned the kitty in with a simple scoop with her hand. She held him in her arms, so he didn't get in thew ay, and just looked to Jaden.
"Since I've gotta keep this thing from gettin' all over the food, would you mind dishing out some for me?" She asked after a moment.
