Jaden nodded when she said that.
"Awesome." he replied.
He then started to form a portal in the wall, but then stopped.
"Wait..." he said.
"Where's Silver?" he asked.
"He's jumped through these before, and we don't want THAT again." he reasoned, looking around.

'Sleeping in my room." Desiree answered after a moment.
"And don't worry, the door is closed, mostly." She added after a moment or two.
"We don't have to worry about him jumping in."
Jaden nodded in response.
"Right then." he said.
With that, he formed the portal, and gestured to her.
"You first." he told her.
"Cause... you know, gotta close it behind me and all." he reasoned.
"And we cannot keep Kalin waiting." he chuckled.

Desiree nodded, took a deep breath, and headed into the portal. She had no idea how much this would fuck with her, as they usually did, but she knew it wouldn't be bad enough to throw her into the hospital again - that had happened once before.
After she was through, she made her way to a chair and just sat down, trying to get her head back together, so to speak. Kalin noticed the portal, and Desiree come through it, before sighing and waiting. She watched as Desiree sat down, and waited until Jaden was through before getting their attention, figuring Desiree needed a few minutes after that. She coudln't handle the portals too well either.
Jaden just shook his head some.
"Hm." he muttered.
"Guess I need to speak with Mom and refine these." he said.
"Desiree, you want a drink?" he then asked Desiree.
"I know where all the drinks are, I can grab one." he said.
"And yes, I'll leave payment." he then told Kalin.
"Hm." he muttered.

Desiree, who had gotten to her feet by the time he finished saying all he did.
"I'll be fine." She stated before holding her hand up - more specifically, her wrist.
"I think it's your mana disagreeing with my crucifix." She reminded him.
"But that's a guess. May need to speak to Vincent about seeing if he can make it that there is no reaction to your mana..." She added before sighing.
"Some water would be lovely." She added before making her way over to Kalin, who shrugged.
"Sure thing." Kalin stated. She wasn't about to sweat a bottle of water.
Jaden just nodded.
"Right." he said.
He then quickly got Desiree a bottle of water, and sat down at the bar, where they had all gathered.
"So." he said.
"Kalin. I understand you've doubled-booked us." he said to Kalin.
"How did that even happen?" he asked.
"Right." he said.

"I've been working one hell of a case, and let's just put it simply here. I hadn't slept for about three days at the time of doing that." Kalin started.
"I refused to sleep because it was a high profile and blahblahblah. 'm not getting into details, but the point is, I had been sleep deprived and hadn't realized I grabbed the WRONG calendar to mark down the planned dates. Meaning, Jaden, you got Desiree's slot." She added
"So now I've gotta figure out a way to do this. I'm thinking... making one and then the other? Two shows in the night? I dunno though, since both of you tend to have longer shows.

"I could really use the diversity in my audience..." he then grumbled.
"I swear, I get REAL sick of goths and emos..." he mumbled.

"That's probably part of why he's so sick of them." Desiree commented.
"You should probably considering letting your hair down though." She added after a moment.
"Actually... we could work that in, too, for that matter."
Jaden's eyes widened when he heard that.
"Ah... ah... ah... what?" he stammered.

"I may be sick of them, but I DO kinda NEED them." he went on.
