Sierra just smirked as she heard what he said.

"Perfect." She stated.

"Keep her on ice, will you? She will be perfect in the future. I'm not sure how long, but I will be back looking for her." She added, looking to the body.

"It is unfortunate that she lost her life so early though."

"It is." he replied.

"She died wishing she could have helped the world, and get it to how it used to be. How her parents told her it was." he then told her.

"I guess... maybe... she'll get her wish." he went on.

"But I will prepare her for you." he then assured her.

"As well as a... younger body for next time." he sighed.

"It is merely a preference, you know that. Mostly because I died when I was young." Sierra commented as she got to her feet.

"Not a requirement by any means." She added.

"This one, " she approached the girl they had just been talking about, "however, I do think is required."

He nodded.

"Of course." he said.

"Whatever you need." he told her.

"If you think you can help him, then I'll do whatever I can." he went on.

"Just please... don't disappear on me." he went on.

"You're one of the few presences in my life keeping me sane."

Sierra just laughed lightly.

"Trust me. This ghost of mine won't be gone for long, at any point." She then said.

"which is actually kinda nice." She added. "I find it rather annoying on one hand, but at the same time, I am able to see the world grow in so many different ways. I love it."

"This is true." he agreed.

"A very good way of looking at it." he commented.

"Still... some changes I'd rather not be experienced." he muttered.

"Oh well..." he sighed, shaking his head.

"As usual, good luck."

"Like the change to the world we are in now, I am guiessing." Sierra commented before sighing.

"Anyhow, I best be off." she then said before leaving.

She was in and out several times. After about a year, and more than 14 deaths, she wrote on the board as her ghostly self again.

Is the sick girl ready?

The man looked at the writing on the board, and was silent.

He then made his way to one of the special drawers, and pulled it open, revealing the girl. He took the sheet off, and looked at the board once more.

"She is." he replied.

"Is it finally time?" he asked.

"After all this time, after all this death, is it finally time for your plan to come to fruition?"

There was silence around him before he saw a handprint on the board. It didn't take long, only another miute or two, before the dead girl stirred and she woke.

"It is." was Sierra's response as she sat up.

"It really is. I refuse to let him be their toy for any longer." She added.

"Very well." he replied.

"If this is to be it, then good luck." he told her.

"....I say that to you a lot..." he sighed.

"But... here's hoping you don't come back alone." he went on.

"Just.... well... you know, as usual, be as careful as this will let you." he said further, looking out the window that he had in the room.

"Looks like a storm's comin' in." he commented.

"...here's hoping it's not appropriate."

Sierra just smirked as she looked out the window.

"Perfect." She said before grabbing the cloak that she saw off to the side.

"If this is yours, sorry. I'll return it later." She said.

"If it's something you found on a body, then no problem. Regardless, I'm gone. I will see you later." Was the last thing she said before vanishing out the door. She made sure the hood was up, made sure that there was no way for anyone to see her face.

It had been quite awhile since the girl who was originally in this body had died, the soul had moved on, but when she reached the square, she was confident she would create a stir, at the very least.

He waved to her as she left.

"Good thing I don't really care about that cloak." he commented.

As she made her way through the streets, the sky darkened considerably, and a few drops started to fall.

And as she walked past people, she heard a few people whisper to themselves.

"Was that...?" one asked.

"Couldn't be." another said.

"She's dead, right?" yet another asked.

But, for the most part, she went unnoticed, as she was moving too quickly to be seen quite properly.

Perfect. Whispers are starting. Sierra thought with a confident smirk as she made her way through the streets. She reached the square without much difficulty before just withdrawing another paint pen, this time made from the blood of a mutant, making it completely permanent. It would seep in and literally become part of whatever it touched - meaning you didn't want it to touch your skin.

WE ARE ALL EQUAL She wrote in big bold letters across the statue, several times, before capping the pen and just leaning against it, hood up.

Now... we wait. She thought, not caring about the rain, and figuring it made it even better, for that matter. Made this pack more of a punch.

The rain had picked up, and just as she heard thunder in the distance, a group of soldiers showed up, with a crowd forming around the unfolding scene.

"You!" one ordered.

"Did you do this!?" they asked.

"ANSWER ME!" he demanded, stepping forward and grabbing her by the collar.

As she was grabbed and pulled forward, the force of it caused the hood to come of fher head.

"Whether I did or not does not make a difference." She commented with a smirk.

"I am fully aware of how little that matters. Once you have it in your head that someone did something, you will see that through to the end, regardless on if you are right or wrong. She stated.

"So do what you will."

There was an audible gasp from the crowd when her face was revealed.

"It's her!" one said.

"But she died!" another commented.

"Clearly not!" yet another said.

"SHUT UP!" one soldier yelled, before looking back at Sierra.

"All right, what kind of twisted joke IS this!?" he asked her.

Donator — Female Posted 7 years ago ( 2018/05/21 05:33:12 )

Sierra just shrugged.

"No joke." she stated.

"I was squirrelled away to somewhere that they would treat me." She answered simply, and rather plainly.

"While no one here would, I was able to get treatment elsewhere, and as a result I'm here. alive." She added, inwardly cringing at the contractions. She had no idea why she hated them so, but she did. It was why she didn't speak with them normally.

"Where!?" the soldier asked.

"Where was the place that treated you!?" he demanded.

"TELL US!" he yelled.

"Tell us, or pay the price!" he threatened.

"Now!"

Sierra just shrugged.

"I'm not going to tell you." She stated.

"And even if you did, your reach does not extend past the edge of New York." She reminded him.

"You may be trying for that, but if I went out of State for treatment, which I did, there is aboslutely nothing you can do."

This seemed to anger the soldier even more.

And she could tell. It was in his expression.

"Why you little..." he growled.

"TELL US!" he ordered, throwing her against the closest wall. Hard.

"NOW!" he demanded, doing it again.
