Ryker just smiled as Eke nudged him, and then climbed onto the dragon's back.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"This is always awesome." he said.

With that, he gently patted Eke on the back, and nodded.

"All right then, let us be off!" he exclaimed.

Eke took off grinning. He felt so powerful like this.

He wished he could stay like this forever.

He did fly for most of the day. He went longer than 4 hours, and he was only a little tired.

As the sun began to set, he landed.

"Heh, nice." he said.

"Covered a LOTTA distance." he commented.

"And damn if that isn't exhilarating." he then admitted.

"Where'd you drop us off, and where we headed?" he asked further, looking around and scanning their surroundings.

"We go north still" he nodded and yawned again.

"For now lets find a hotel cause im bushed..."

They then started to walk, and he kept looking around.

"I can't get used to hotels." he then admitted.

"They always feel... well... too fancy? I guess? For me." he told Eke.

"You know, like I don't belong in them."

"That...sounded SO beyond cheesy. ugh..." he sighed and just turned into a nice hotel.

"Just...forget i said anything" he groaned.

Ryker just laughed out loud, before pulling Eke up close to him, and hugging him from behind.

"It did." he agreed.

"But it's sweet." he said. 'Much like yourself." he went on.

"So don't you worry about that."' he went on, before releasing Eke from the embrace.

"Also, you might be getting older and more mature... but you still have those moments of sheer adorableness." he then added with a smirk.

"Bro...people are watching..." he tried to hide into his green cargo jacket.

he groaned and walked to the counter putting on his charming smile.

He managed to get a really nice room.

"And it's good it still does." he told him.

"Somehow, we've never needed one in a while."

He was yawning quite a bit now and had a hard time keeping his head up.

"This room has a kitchenette, so I can cook some of it." he told him.

"Unless you can charm us up some free room service." he then chuckled.

"I...dont think so. im too tired. and yeah. moths worth of fish" He tossed the bag.

He flopped onto the bed and turned on the tv.

"Do you think...that my mom wouldnt tell me about my dad...cause hes low born?" that seemed the only reasonable explanation.

His mother was a proud dragon, and cerished wealth, power, and bloodlines.

Ryker caught the bag, and started to get things ready, pausing briefly when Eke asked his question.

"....hm." he mumbled.

"Possibly." he said.

"It depends on your mother's viewpoints on such things." he told him.

"However, don't jump to that as an immediate and definite answer."' he then warned him. "Entertain it only as a possibility. After all, you don't know for sure until you... well... know for sure."

"Just figured it made sense. moms always been...super proud of her bloodline..." he stretched.

"Figured the only reason shed never tell me anything about my dad is if...he wasnt...high born" he sat up as he had almost fallen asleep

"It's always a possibility." Ryker replied, as the sounds of searing could be heard, and a wonderful aroma started to fill the area.

"This'll be done soon." he told him.

"At any rate, concern yourself with more immediate things." he said.

"Ie: your hunger and tiredness." he went on.

"Both of which will be satisfied VERY shortly." he then chuckled.

"Im not THAT tired!" he protested.

He got up.

"But...i am gonna take a shower." he quickly shuffle to the bathroo,

He took a colder shower. Not to wake him up but because he was kind of warm.

He was in the shower for about an hour just letting his mind drift. He finally came out and changed, drying his hair.

When he came out of the shower, he saw a stack of cooked fish waiting for him, and Ryker laying down, eyes closed.

"Hey again." he said.

"Dig in." he told him.

"It's all for you." he assured Eke further.

"So eat your fill, until you're full!"

"What about you? you havent eaten much today either..." he grabbed a few fish.

He started eating staring at the table.

What WAS waiting for him in the capital? Should he be nervous? would it matter?

He sighed heavily and quickly finished his food. setting a plate next to ryker with a few fish.
