@Tsundererra: Not particularly strange in this case. It was a small place specializing in vegetarian and vegan cuisine... which is great! ... unless you don't eat soy or legumes, or potatoes, or wheat. There was very little on the menu that didn't have at least one of these things.

@Wildfire: Oh man, I’ve had friends who couldn’t eat gluten, potatoes, soy, or legumes, but it was usually one friend with one allergy/dietary restriction, not all of them at once. D: Maybe his train of thought was that you would have more options at a vegan/vegetarian place, but that would be possible if they had more options on the menu.
