"I see." he said, as he was beckoned over to help her, specifically with her corset.

"Well, if they did, they don't know what they're dealing with." he chuckled.

"You know as well as I do that I can deal with that." he said.

"But I'll relay the info as soon as I can." he continued.

"I won't mention the kid yet." he then added.

"Not until we know what his full deal is."

Rylie nodded.

"Yeah." she paused a moment before sighing.

"I'll tell you anything I Find out that is pertinent." She added before turning her back to him.

"Would you might lacing me up again?"

Az just nodded.

"Sure thing." he said.

He then started to do up her corset, making sure it was tight enough, but not too tight. He wanted her comfortable, after all.

"You want one of the larger rooms?" he asked.

"Which is to say, want to share a room with him, or separate rooms?" he clarified.

"I can do both." he assured her.

"The room by the one that's reserved for you is open." he continued.

"Or I can give you one the larger ones I have here."

Rylie was silent for a moment.

"It'd be better if we were in one room, solely because of the fact taht I want to make sure he doesn't have to deal with anyone trying to do anything, or run off." She admitted.

"And of course, thank you, Azazel. You know I appreciate it." She added.

"I don't really have many others I could turn to."

Azazel just smiled.

"Hey, those like us gotta stick together." he said.

"I'm happy to help in whatever way I can." he told her.

"Anyway, now that you're dressed again, I suppose you ought to go back up and check on the boy." he suggested.

"I'll get the room ready for the two of you." he went on.

He then paused for a moment.

"Feel free to grab any supplies you think you might need. Just tell me what you grabbed later." he then added.

"See you in a few." he finished, before heading out to get the room ready.

Rylie finished up in there before heading back up to where she'd left Ash, curious as to whether or not some shit had gone down, or whether or not he'd finished all the food. She wasn't sure.

On the way, she felt one of the more drunkenly patrons smack her ass and grab her wrist, pulling her in.

"Hey there good lookin'." He slurred. Rylie just rolled her eyes before trying to get out of his grip, but finding it more of a task than she'd expected it to be. Granted, she knew she could, but she wanted to try and avoid snapping someone's wrist if she could avoid it.

"Come on, baby." the man said.

"Give a little funtime, eh?" he asked.

"...excuse me." a small voice said, coming from Ash... who was suddenly there, having noticed this happen.

"She doesn't seem to like you." he commented.

"Please let her go." he said.

"Shove off, runt!" the man spat, pulling Rylie closer again.

"....I said let her go." Ash repeated, his tone now having an ominous darkness to it, and Rylie could almost see a faint dark aura forming around him.

Rylie looked to Ash, and saw the aura, before sighing and just elbowing the patron , hard, in the jaw. When he recoiled in pain, she got out of his grip is quite a bit fo grace, before approaching Ash.

"Come on, let's go." She said.

'If he has a brain, he'll not follow." She then said as she started heading toward the table again.

"Also, don't do anything, Ash." She said after a moment. "Let's not start anything right now."

He then followed her back to the table, where she saw almost everything was gone, except for a little bit of drink.

"He wasn't nice." he said to her.

"He seemed mean." he went on.

"...." he was then silent again, before sighing.

"Did... I do a bad thing?" he asked her.

"Should... should I have just stayed away?"

"If you had done anything, then chances are you would have likely been in trouble." Rylie told him honestly.

"That just wouldn't have gone well." She then said.

"I was saving you from causing problems." She finished wth a sigh.

"Also, my friend is setting up a room here for us.' She told him honestly.

"Since you look like you need to sleep."

"....ah..." Ash stammered.

"Well... yeah..." he admitted.

"Been a bit since I slept." he said.

"I mean, I've napped here and there." he went on.

"...but nothing too long..." he said further.

"And... a room?" he asked.

"Like, with some comfy scraps to sleep on and such?" he asked further.

"That sounds good." he said with another smile.

Rylie paused as Ash said what he did before smirking. She wasn't going to tell him what was going to be in the room, strictly because she wanted to let him be surprised.

Hopefully pleasnatly surprised.

After a little bit, they approached the door to the room, and she opened it, knowing that Az would likely be looking for her later. She stepped inside, beckoned for Ash to get in, closed the door and made her way to one of the two beds.

"Pick a bed to sleep on." She said as she sat down to take her shoes offf.

Ash's eyes widened.

"A... a bed?" he asked.

"A... real bed? I can sleep in one of them?" he asked further.

Rylie just nodded.

Ash then made his way to one of them and climbed on it... and as soon as he did so, she could see the wave of tiredness washing over him.

It was clear he was sleep-deprived, and it was catching up to him.

"...I am very tired..." he commented, letting out a big yawn.

Rylie just chuckled lightly as she got to her feet before getting to her feet and making her way over to him.

"Get some sleep, Ash." She said, tucking him in.

"You'll feel better after you get some good sleep. I'll see you later."

"....thank you, Miss Rylie." Ash responded.

He then yawned again.

No sooner had he actually laid down on the bed, he was asleep.

Out cold.

He didn't even bother to crawl under the blankets, he was just asleep.

And she could see that he felt safe here, which was something... especially seeing as his body really did look emaciated.

As Rylie took in what she could see from Ash, she just sighed before making sure he was good and comfortable. Once that was done, she made he rway to the notepad, jotted down a quick note to say that she'd stepped out to speak with Az, would return shortly, and that he didn't need to worry, before leaving the room. She didn't bother with her shoes again, mind.

She made sure to lock the door, of course, and headed down to where she hoped to find Az. She didn't get any information from Ash yet, but she had something to bring up with her friend - she needed some clothes for Ash, and to ask how long she could stay there with him for the moment. She didn't know if the kid wanted to stay with her or not, and didn't want to rush him too severely into a choice.

When she went downstairs, she found Azazel (literally) tossing out a particularly drunken patron. Which was impressing, seeing as the man was about a foot and a half taller than Az, and looked to weigh twice as much,

"AND STAY OUT, UNTIL YOU LEARN RESPECT!" he yelled.

"Damned degenerate!" he added, before slamming the door.

He then sighed, and looked over, seeing Rylie.

"Ah, sorry about that." he apologised.

"Some people just refuse to learn." he told her.

"Anyway, what's up?" he asked.

"Having fun?" She asked with a light laugh.

"There's a reason you've got the best tavern in the town." She added.

"Anyway, I wanted to ask... do you happen to have any clothing that might fit him?" She asked.

"As his clothing is rather ratty, and... just..." She paused before sighing lightly.

"And was wondering if you would mind if I hung around with him for awhile. I don't know how long, but I do know that it's going to take some time for him to ... actually look decent. The boy looks like he hasn't eaten in about amonth, if not longer."

"It's hard work." he said.

"But the reputation is worth it." he reasoned.

"Now... for your questions..." he went on.

"One. I think so. Things get left here all the time, I should have some mismatched clothing for him." he told her.

"And two, you can stay here as long as you like. You know that." he then assured her.

"I'll do all I can to help both you AND him."

"Thank you." She said after a moment or two.

"I wouldn't die out there without you, but it definitely makes things easier." She said with a light sigh.

"I will make sure that he doesn't eat you out of house and home." She paused a moment before sighing again.

"He claims to be fourteen... yet looks so much younger."
