Yeah I took the metro last Saturday a day before they increased service and it kinda sucked. Lol we were using it to try and find a couch since last weekend we thought it was going to be another week at least before we got our stuff.
We are going to work on putting more stuff away tonight. The furniture is laid out but the office is super cramped with boxes and the kitchen is a wreck. Send help. Haha
I’m looking forward to less wait times for a train next time I ride it. I also found a machine that was still selling Cherry Blossom metro cards!! I got one at King Street Station and I was so happy! <33
It’s very weird to be here and not being able to freely enjoy the area. I know I can take the metro, and some stuff is open again but we are still in a pandemic. And as much as I want to go to DC and go to my favorite places, I can’t. We and both still so happy that we were able to move here. And we go out just in time. Did you see the horrible fires in CA? They were really close to where I used to live.
@sunny: that would be nice to help him out. I wish you could help me unpack. Haha. I want to explore my new area more but there is still a pandemic. Although this area is doing better than most of the US.
This weekend I will be unpacking and it would be really nice if I could get a lot of it done. I just want to be able to relax and it’s hard when there are boxes everywhere and it feels like there is no space. ^^;

I am always writing! :D It's a full-time thing :) This novella is about an immortal woman who lives on Mars with her mortal platonic soulmate who is constantly reincarnated throughout time. The story focuses on the politics of the Mars base and a hostage situation that rises up. There are also flashbacks to the characters' lives together throughout the last 300,000 years.
