@sunny: yeah makes sense! and i wish gap years were more of a thing too, i feel like there's a lot of pressure on students to go to college just because it's what you're "supposed" to do. but it's not necessarily the right environment for everyone, and while it can be a great opportunity, you would get the most of of it if it's something someone wants to do and if the structure/approach is the right fit for them
i definitely seriously considered dropping out a few times, while i'm glad i didn't it was also kind of a rough time for me. i'm glad you made the right call for you and left instead of being miserable out of obligation!

@xvz: I wish I had done a gap year, it would have given me time and space to think about what I really wanted. Ah well....
I actually mostly write for story exchanges, and I am on a Discord server where you can post asking for betas etc. It's handy!
@sunny: I wish I had too. My general advice for anyone going to college is don't until you're absolutely sure it's what you want to do.
I also reccomend learning a 2 year trade first. So even if college plans fall thru you still have something to fall back on and have a decent income.

@decomposer: any past items you are missing out on? 16k could buy you almost anything in the exchange except for some of the hard to find items.
Good thing you left. I went right as the mall opened and it was not busy. Plus they have people watching at the entrances to make sure people are wearing masks. Some stores like Apple and Sephora won’t let you in without a temp check and a mask on properly.
