Xeri just sighed as Ceth said all he did.

"That's a risk I'm going to take. I have to get him off of the boat, lest he wants to be found. It really isn't fair to have Adym suffering just because I can't run him to the shore." She added with a sigh.

"I .... Ceth , we have no choice. You can't run across the water... there are only shadows beneath the surface. You'd drown."

Xeri just sighed.

"You can like it all you want, but it's the only way we can actually stop Adym's head from splitting open." She commented before looking at Kai.

"And it will. .... especially since where he's going, and the room where the other is... aren't too far apart." She added with a sigh.

"On that note, I gotta get him off the ship." With that, she was gone, leaving the others alone and making her way down to the room of someone she knew had to leave.

It was then that he heard a knock.

"CC! It's me. We need to talk." She said simply. After he'd beckoned her to enter, she stepped in, closed the door, and met his gaze.

"Feel like staying on the ship, or leaving?" She asked him, her voice curious.

"Because... really? You should leave, lest you're found."

Xeri was silent for a moment before sighing, and nodding.

"That's exactly it." She told hom honestly.

"Nature - the wood elf." She added.

"I... really don't think he's going to listen to my telling him not to hunt you out. So... let's get you off this ship. I can run you to the shore and then get a room at the inn there to wait for them to dock."

Xeri paused a moment.

"I.... didn't know you knew about that." She admitted after a moment or two.

"But I'll be all right." She assured him.

"So get your things together and meet me on the deck, the bow of the ship. We'll take off from there, as there aren't many people there for a moment."

Xeri just smiled softly.

"Don't worry about that." She assured him.

"Ceth is very much aware of that, already." She added.

"I will meet you there in five minutes, though." Was the lastthing she said before leaving the room and heading back up to the deck. She didn't know what to expect, and part of her was uneasy about leaving her brother alone, as who knew what could happen in that time? She knew it'd be a couple of days that they were separate, and while she knew that he was a very capable elf, she knew they both weren't perfect.

"I really hope this goes well..." She said quietly as she made her way to the meeting point, making it a point to avoid Callie and Kai, specifically. Adym wasn't a problem, as he was in his room.

Xeri just sighed.

"I'm not the most enthused by it either." she admitted.

"But it needs to be done." She added before pausing.

"I'm sure you can understand the situation. I certainly can." She paused, again, before shrugging.

"Actually, how long did you suffer with it before you met Sara?" She asked

"That or you meeting him." Xeri commented with a light sigh.

"And seems that you may need to keep at least a bit of a distance from him, specifically." She added.

"Anyway," she started before holding a hand out to him, "Let's go. We've got a bit of distance to travel, and I'd prefer to do it quicker, if I'm being honest." After he'd accepted her hand, they were gone before anyone even noticed they were moving.

Callie just sighed lightly.

"Not surprising." She commented.

"Xeri said that she was going to get whomever it was off the ship." She added.

"So... they're not here anymore, and not torturing you."

"Here's hoping, at the very least." Callie agreed with a nod.

"How long do we have left, anyway?" She then asked.

"About three moons." was Kai's response.

'Oh! So not too long at all. At least there's that.' Callie said with a smile.

"Cool. Now, I'm going to go see if the dining hall is good for food. I'm famished." She said before getting to her feet.

"anyone else want to join me?" She asked with a soft smile. Sara just raised her hand.

"I do." The child said.
