i rescrewed a cabinet door once earlier this year and i was like i may as well become a carpenter now lol i'll just renovate my apartment now
how's the new light? was the kitchen missing a lightbulb or there weren't any overhead/room lights at all?

There were no lights at all in the room.
So we've been trying to add lights. But we can't access the electricity or anything, so we have been like using Command Strips to put up battery lights. We finally got a big light and just taped the cord to the wall, so we can see now! It's great.

Ugh, I know the feels of no lights at all in a room. My last place was like that in the living room and two bedrooms. I learned to never again get a place without studying the ceilings for the presence of lights and/or ceiling fans lol. Now my new place has all of the above in every room! :D
That’s good! I should have done that, but honestly this was what I could afford so I was going to take it anyway. >.<
The dinning room and the bathroom are the only rooms that had ceiling lights. But we managed to get good floor lamps in the rest of the apartment. The kitchen just can’t have floor lamps or table lamps, so it’s been harder to light. Especially without being able to use screws or nails. I think we have it solved now though!

@Aisukohi: just for searching the internet and schoolwork I love my chrome book. I take online courses so we are always so written assignments or group projects and the google slides and docs are so easy to use so I love it for that.

@Lina: Glad you found solutions to your lack of light lol. We used plug-in lamps for our spaces that didn't have them. Always gave the place a sleepy feel. Also, nice avi!
@Bonnie: That's awesome that you can use the Google word apps to do your work. I'm thinking I need something that can run word processing programs, so probably a Microsoft product (I can't stand Apple).

re lights my coworker has the same problem of not having any overhead lights including in the closet and apparently he and his wife have been getting dressed in the dark using like the phone flashlight for like two years Lol!!
