Demi just smirked before withdrawing one of her blades from her sheath on her back. She held it out to him.

"Here." She said. As she did so, he noticed that it wasn't one of her usual blades.

"This treasure ... I found it on a hunt." She stated honestly.

"Thought you could use it in your show." She then said.

"It'll amplify the effectiveness of your mana too, meaning it could very well be one hell of a boost to let you try new things you may not have considered, or been daring enough to try."

"Anytime Jaden." Demi said with a grin.

"It was a bounty, and it one who had requested it didn't want it after they felt the weight of that thing, so I was free to do what I wanted with it." She told him.

"I don't have a sheath or anything for it though." She then said.

"But it's a blade that doesn't really need one. Won't cut anything without the intnetion or something. I'm not entirely sure, admittedly."

"Why else do you think I just pushed past?" Demi asked with a light laugh.

"don't even have a pass for this one." She added with a smirk.

"Anyway, what was going on with your mom?" She then asked after a moment or two.

"Last I heard, she had lsot track of you."

Demi just sighed.

"Perhaps she wanted the chance to get to know you?" She suggested.

"I'm a lycan, damn straight I heard that." she commented when he looked over, surprised.

"But seriously. If she'd come out and just said 'hey, I'm your mom.' what would you have done? Would you have gien her the time of day?"

"Oh probably." Demi agreed with a light laugh.

"Regardless, want me to clear out so you can do whatever you've a need to?" She asked.

"I know I was an unexpected stop by."

Demi just sighed.

"Well, I got nothing going on." She said before taking a seat.

"So let's catch up. It's been awhile."

Vyn sighed as she sat on her front porch. She hadn't had any contact with Jaden for about two weeks, not since Demi spilled the beans on her. It wasn't for lack of trying though, he was ghosting her.

"Dammit..." she muttered before pausing. She'd heard something. Didn't know what she heard, but she knew she heard something. When she looked around,. she saw no one around.

". . . the hell was that.?" She wondered.

Vyn didn't miss the wet look of the head. It alarmed her, but she wasn't about to show that.

"Was... actually, I'm amazed it took you so long to find me." She then said.

"I thought you hunters were better than that." As she spoke, she was getting to her feet properly.

"All right, so we're going to do this song and dance now. You sure you can handle me?" She asked as she crossed her arms, putting the weight on one foot, and tapped the other. As she did so, there was a small, barely noticable, pulse of mana. That pulse basically sent out a distress call ... since she realised she'd likely be outclassed here. This guy was all over the mage news and the like.

Granted, she had no idea who it would be sent to, as it was connected to her phone.

Vyn just sighed before dodging the incoming attack. She knew that they had to do this, particularly so that she'd survive in her opinion. She knew he'd be thinking the same thing though.

This was not something she was interested in doing,.... But she did know that she had to.

So she dove for him. She managed to knock him down through sheer dumb luck, but that didn't last long. He shoved her off of him quickly and rather effortlessly, tossing her to the side. As he took aim again, she vanished, sucked into a portal beneath her far quicker than he could fire. His arrow hit the ground, embedding into it rather well.

Sure enough, he felt her presence before he heard anything.

She was behind him, silent as could be, coming in for the kill.

Or at least trying to.

She dodged it, somehow. But not completely.

The blade sliced through her short, and lightly through her skin,causing her to bleed.

She knew that wouldn't be a protection or anything, though.

"Oh fuck you. This was one of my favourite shirts." She snarled before just punching him, solidly, on the jaw.
