Vyn didn't say anything for a moment before sighing.

"Just... help me get inside..." She said.

"I should be fine." She added, although sdhe didn't know if he'd believe her or not.

Vyn just chuckled lightly, painfully.

"Sure." She said.

"Just... let's get inside." She added before he stepped up and lifted her up.As they made their way in, she directed him to the couch, where he set her down and she stayed... not that she could do much else.

Vyn didn't get a chance to say anything before they felt his mana presence.

"Den, Rene!" She called, knowing that he'd be able to find them. He'd been there... a lot... in the past.

"Yo, Arrow that was tipped in a paralytic. Mind helping counter it?" She asked, sounding worse with almost every word.

Vyn was silent for a moment.

"Thank you, Jaden." She said.

"Go grab some coffee. I have a new blend in the pot currently." She added, inviting him to grab some if he wanted. If he didn't he was welcome to leave, of course, but the option was there.

"Rene, have at me and do as can. I... really can't stop you."

". . . he is." Was the reply.

"Long sotry." She added. She added, promising that she'd give him information after he got her able to talk without the paralytic spreading as it was. Sure enough, four minutes later, he requested her to get to her feet.

She wasn't the steadiest, but that was to be expected. She was at least up and able to move on her own.

"Thank you, Rene." She said before sighing as she took a seat again.

". . . as for Jaden, yeah. He's my son." She told him.

"Met him awhile ago... didn't tell him who I was... and then Demi spilled the beans."

"That would be fantastic. Preferably before people start arriving home on the street." Vyn commented.

"You and Kalin pick a place for dinner - my treat." She then said. "as a thank you." she then paused a moment.

"I... should probably go talk to him." She added with a light sigh, shaking her head.

After he was gone, Sydney just sighed... heavily.

"Well, here goes." She said quietly before making her way to the kitchen, a hand on the wall.

"Hey, Jaden?" She called as she made her way through the doorway.

"What do you think of that one?" She asked, her voice curious.

"If you like it, I've got a fresh unopened bag you can take."

"I have a few, if I'm being honest." Sydney answered honestly before making her way over to a cupboard and withdrawing a ... rather large all things considered, bag of beans. She set it down on the counter.

"All yours." She told him before sighing.

"Consider it my thank you for your help." She said.

"Feel free to grab it and go if you don't want to hang around."

"Of course." Sydney answered.

"Come on. Couch is far more comfortable than anything out here." She said. After he'd agreed, they made their way out to the room in question, and sat down - him on the couch, her across and taking advantage of a rather comfortable armchair she had.

"You seem you want to talk." She said after a moment or two.

"What's up?"

"That... makes sense." Sydney told him honestly.

"Honestly, I'm relieved to see you again." She added. "But... I don't know if it will matter, but everything I told you was true."

"I know it's likely it doesn't matter, I'm aware of the animosity you've held for me for so long, but I also know that I relished the chance for some honesty with you."
