She was silent as she stepped inside. The rain was beating her, and beating her hard. She had naught but a messenger bag, and her jacket. No umbrella, and it wasn't hard to tell that she'd likely be soaked beneath the denim jacket she wore. She sighed lightly before looking outside again, not wanting to head out there. She knew she wouldn't be able to wait out the rain though.
Sure enough, a couple minutes later, one of the employees approached her.
"I'm sorry miss, but you can't stay here unless you're ordering something." They told her. She sighed and nodded.
"All right." She said, obviously not the most impressed by it, but understanding the reasoning. She approached the location to order, looking over their menu, before placing an order. Or ... at least trying to. When her card was declined for the payment, she sighed, changed it to something far smaller (a muffin) and paid with what little cash she happened to have on her at the time. With her muffin in hand, she made her way over to where she could sit.
Taking a seat, she realised she didn't have long in there, only about twenty minutes, before they would be ushering her out. She'd take what she could get for the moment, at least. If nothing else, she was out of the weather for a few minutes.
As she sat down though, the one across the way got a good look at her face, and how thin it was.
