Erica paused as Jake said what he did before looking. AS she pulled her collara away from her a bit, it revealed the markings that covered her arm, clearly.

"Shit!" She exclaimed, quickly covering it and laying a hand over it, making it that he couldn't see anything.

The air started to clear once the markings were covered.

"I have to go." She said quickly.

"Get... this covered... before shit hit s the ..." She paused before looking to Jake again.

"Wait."

"..... you're... not..." She paused, a confused expression on her face.

"Uhhh... How do you feel...?"

"Jake... how..." Erica started before pausing, looking to her wrapped hand.

"All right... Can we test something?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Because now I have to know."

Erica just sighed lgihtly before taking a quick look down the halls to make sure no one was approaching. When she returned to the desk, she removed the glove on her right hand, and unwrapped the bandages that were there as well. As she did so, the air changed, even if no one could rightly identify how it changed.

She held her hand out toward Jake, wondering what would happen, or how he was, as she watched him intently.

She hoped this wouldn't cause him to implode mentally, of course.

Erica just smiled softly.

"No. No, you're good." She said as she just covered her hand again.

". . . . I think I have an idea as to why you're not losing your shit like everyone else is." She commented before pausing.

"Oh... damn." She muttered, taking a breath to steady to herself. For some reason, she got hit with an extreme wave of vertigo. Which was odd, as she wasn't one that experienced vertigo.

Erica was silent for a moment befor enodding.

"I... yeah... yeah I'm ok" She answered.

"Just... had a few seconds where I was. But... I'm all right." She assured Jake before finishing with her glove and turning toward Ty.

"How is Miki doing, anyway?" She asked, her voice curious.

"Is she doing all right with all this?"

Erica was silent for a moment.

"Yeah... things are all right." She answered.

"I... was just testing something with Jake here." She added.

"Don't let me hold you up." She added with a light chuckle.

"I'm going to ... head back to where I should be. Deal with the hell in the interrogation wing." She added with a sigh.

"Jake... you might want to mention to Anya that it seems I have no affect on you." Was the last thing she said before heading for the door.

He was left waiting for a few seconds, before the door was opened.

"Wait... Ty?" The one there asked, shock in her face and voice.

"I... didn't actually expect Sharp to allow you to come up here." She added before stepping out of the way for him to enter. As he did so though, he noticed that she looked... a bit odd. A bit more dishevelled than usual.

'I... yep. You do." She agreed. "Me, not so much normally. I had to dye my hair back to natural for this."

"Want some coffee or something?" She asked before he continued to talk as he walked with her.

"Companionship? That'd be fantastic." She agreed. "How long are you going to be here?"

"A few days." Ty answered.

"Get's me outta the unit." He added. She just sighed.

"No, Miki, you don't get it. The place has been going insane, and no one knows why." He told her. Miki paused before looking at him.

"Wait, what?" She asked. "And what do you mean that Hal's been avoiding people? That's so out of character for him."

Miki was silent.

"That... that's so not..." She said before sighing.

"I knew something was coming. I knew it. I couldn't put a finger on it, and I'm more than ever relieved I accepted this assignment." She admitted.

Miki just sighed.

"Not really." She answered.

"I'm here just for general information and the like, adn I'm not finding anything of interest." She told him honestly.

"The most exciting thing that happened, is a little girl down the street aced an exam."
