"It actually is a nice neighbourhood." Miki agreed. "And I miss having you around too."

"I'm stuck here for a couple more weeks though, sadly." She added with a heavy sigh. She wanted to go home, wanted to be back in her house, back with Ty, and she wanted to see her cat again.

Miki stood in the kitchen, her hands on the island, barely seeming to hold herself still. She was trembling slightly, as well.

What the hell is going on? She wondered, her hands flat against the cool marble countertop. It was honestly getting harder to keep her thoughts straight and not drifting to places that she'd never been. She couldn't understand it, and really didn't want to succumb to whatever was overcoming her, but she knew that she didn't really have a choice. She couldn't fight this off.

Miki was silent.

"I... y-y-yeah.' She answered, not looking to him.

"Sadly." She added, her voice wavering slightly.

"So don't." was all Miki said.

Don't go. Stay.' She added before sighing. It was a steadying breath, and she was sure that Ty would have been able to pick up on it.

She could barely keep her thoughts to herself, keep her hands to herself, and not lose herself either. It was taking every single piece of will that she had.

Miki was silent.

"Then stay." She said simply.

"C... can you go grab some ice cream? I have a sweet tooth." She added after a couple fo seconds, barely keeping her voice as level as it was, and resistin gthe urges she felt.

It really wasn't easy though.

Miki's hands twitched slightly.

"Surprise me." She sad simply.

"Just... just surprise me. Get whatever." She added.

"Heh, fair enough. All right. I'll see you when I get back." Ty responded with before nodding and leaving Miki alone.

As soon as he was gone, Miki sank to the floor, not taking her hands off of the counter.

"What the hell...." She asked as she turned and leaned against the cupboards behind her.

Miki didn't say anything for a few seconds, it took about that length of time to get her head on straight enough that she could say anything.

"Ty... you..." She started, having to pause a moment.

"keep back." She said simply. "Just... just don't.... don't get too close." She added. Ty, meanwhile, just set the ice cream down on the counter above her before kneeling down, but making sure to stay out of reach. Miki met his gaze, and he was able to see, something. Her normally dark blue eyesseemed brighter, as if there was a light behind them, or something.

"I..." She started before lunging for him.

Miki wasn't straddling Ty for long before he realised what was going on.

This was going to get physical, and he had no idea what it was that was going to happen next. He couldn't properly understand why she was doing this, either.

Normally Miki was one that would do whatever it took to have no physical contact with anyone, yet here she was now...

Miki just looked to him, barely seeming to be able to breathe for the moment.

She didn't say anything though, which was weird. She'd normally be quite likely to spout off some sarcastic comment about how sh ewasn't good enough, while laughing of course, before climbing off of him.

This time, she didn't say anything. She stayed there, watching him. He knew her well enough to know that there was a war going on within her though.

What that war was, he didn't know.

He didn't have time to consider anything that could be happening, before he felt her lips against his again.

This was something completely new, and not at all like the woman he knew.

The question though, was whether or not he'd let this go and be caught up in it, or if he'd be able to fight her back for the moment.

She was silent as she made her way into the townhouse that she shared with someone.

"Yo! Levi! You home!?" She called out into the house as she kicked her shooes off.

"I got food!" She added.
