I recently had that conversation with someone I know. She can't separate cuddling from it being romantic. It's like cuddling with a friend can be perfectly platonic. Especially if you're crazy tired.
Some people make me sad for humanity.
I remember a friend of mine curling up right next to me in my bed. It was like 1-2am, and she had had a bad night at prom. Nothing romantic behind it, just too friends who were tired. Different friend and I both passed out curl up against each other in a tiny chair falling asleep. Nothing romantic even though it was a dude friend.
I kinda miss real life friends.
Mine are all online now or several states away.
I love cuddling. It's great.

I miss my real life friends too, but not because they're where I can't see them anymore. The self isolation thing is getting a lot of us down. We all had a bunch of parties and events planned that had to be canceled.
Not so comfortable cuddling with these new batch of friends. Not sure why, only that it feels different.

Our Halloween parties have been pretty great. We made one terrible mistake last year though. Someone had brought a bag of zombie Skittles. These have randomly disgusting skittles mixed in with the good ones. Like the jellybean thing. So we decided to take a skittle every time the word virgin is used in Hocus Pocus. I have all of them memorized now, and the skittles have been banned from our parties.

-shudders- Ugh, they were so gross. Tasted like rotten meat. A poor friend of mine got two in a row. We might do another 'drinking' game next Halloween. Not sure yet. Do know that there is a pool party planned for when we can all meet up again.

Convention stories are generally the best stories. I have a pretty wholesome one actually.
We were on a glass elevator, and I absolutely do not like heights. Like at all. So of course the elevator starts going to the 22nd floor of the hotel. I started to have like a panic attack at how high we were going. My friend is being a bitch about it. But this fabulous Miroku turned me to face where I couldn't see how high we were, and kept taking me through the panic attack.
