We live in Florida, and it was a particularly hot March that year. She made sure that she had her fan with her at Megaplex (another con we went to last year). Megaplex is specifically a furry convention, so they a ton of safe spaces for suiters to go. With BIG fans and plenty of water. Everything went fine during that convention.
The only problem with Megaplex was the hotel. It's a very very nice hotel, but the food was ridiculously expensive. Like a tiny personal pizza was 13$.
Cute ears and tails are cute. I have some. ^_^
O.O Expensive! Though that is how they make their money. People always hungry and don't think to bring or make their own food.

We spent most of our money in the dealer's hall, and the Mitsuwa Japanese supermarket nearby.

I've seen those posts on Pinterest where you make different meals in a coffee pot.
This hotel was placed on it's own estate, and wasn't anywhere close to outside restaurants which was ew. But the convention staff had a special VIP thing for people who pay extra to get food. So that's what we did for most of our meals. They raised the fee for that service this year.
There was one moment where we had no choice but to buy food from the hotel eateries though. I got a plain ham sandwich for like 9ish.
Roflmao, I spent so much money in the dealer's room omg. Way more than I was intending to spend of course. Even bought something for Mdom and sent it to her. It seems like every time I go on a big trip, I come back with something for her.

AMA - Aww, that is sweet though. ^_^
This year we were supposed to go to Disney World, but I'm not convinced that's going to happen anymore. The trip was planned for May for my birthday. I doubt the quarantine will be over by then. Not with so many being stupid and still going out and about.
It was funny when I sent her this unicorn keychain that pooped sparkly poop. She's in another country, so I had to do a customs form. It was fun putting in that description.

I'm still going to keep saving up for the trip, but I still don't think it's going to happen. We're discussing moving the trip to Christmas if it gets canceled for the May trip.

I hope so too. But hey if it doesn't happen, I can always use the money saved for the trip on something else. Like a Switch Lite and AC.

We were wanting to do it this past year when I turned 30, but didn't have the funds or vacation time.
