Her first language is French so idk lol. It'll be easier to get the hang of with exposure, right...? Hardly any of my cousins on her side of the family can speak English at all so....it's like this big language barrier separating family idk lol

@Unicorn: Yeah, idk...I hope so...I felt so bad the last time I saw my grandmother because I kept asking my sister for the right words to say, and idk when....if I'll ever see my grandmother again, since she lives in France and I only get to go overseas every four years or so

@Unicorn: even though I'm 19 now, sometimes my mother is like "let's all speak in French this weekend and not a word of English"
Because my french is so terrible I can hardly even speak to my own grandmother...urk

@Unicorn: I mainly picked it up from my mother and her side of the family once she judged that I'd picked up English well enough and started speaking it at home lol XD

I had to do two languages at school though, urk...I wasn't very good at all... at least in highschool we were allowed to drop one of them....hnng why does this country I live in now have to have eleven official languages...urk

Hmm, well....The problem i have with French is that I understand it, but when I try to speak it...I forget all my vocabulary and default to English, lol

@Unicorn: haha its fine lol. I was born in England, my dad's English and my mother's French. My mum wanted to speak both English and French when I was little like she did for my sister, but the doctors who fixed my hearing told her she should only focus on English so that I'd be able to pick it up XD

@Unicorn: It's okay lol. Though I like to think I'm good with English, there's just a couple of words or phrases where I trip up, even though it's my mother tongue XD
I suppose that could be to do with the fact that I was technically deaf until I was 2 years old but, I dunno lol

@Unicorn: I always say the wrong word even when I'm not tired lol. It's something I do, idk why...It's like when I had a lisp or couldn't speak English right when I was younger and my parents took me to a speech therapist, but even now, i will pronounce "thief" as "fieth" unless I concentrate XD
