@sunny: Yeah, and selfish. Too many people think "This virus won't get me because I'm not old or immuno-compromised." ... but everybody knows old people or someone with health issues, so just no sense of responsibility whatsoever.

But I have faith we'll get through this, even if it means we finally go on lockdown.

@purpdaburppurp: Thanks lol. We tend to have similar tastes, and it's something I've been meaning to watch anyway even before I knew about the con, but that gave me the push to start it.

I'm actually okay if they cancel or postpone it. We're lucky that we haven't bought the tickets yet, or the lodgings, so no money lost yet. And there will always be other opportunities we can plan for, even if it's a different convention, different city.

It is. I'm not sure how they're enforcing the closure though. I doubt they have enough manpower to make sure people stay away.

@sunny: I know California is on lockdown, but not Florida (so far).

They finally closed our local beaches the other day. Too many dumbasses not taking this thing seriously and crowding the beaches like it's a typical summer day.

@sunny: I live in Florida! Senior citizen capital of the world!! Which is what keeps my job security since I work with them for a living lol.

@purpdaburppurp: I only became a fan earlier this year because I was supposed to go to an anime convention with some of the voice actors for it with my sister (she's a huge fan). Sooo to prepare for the con, I started watching it with my fiance but we're only on season 2 so far.

I think the convention will be canceled or postponed, but we'll know for sure sometime this Monday.

Been lucky enough to have an essential job, so been working. Other than that, pretty much staying at home unless I really need to go out (not that we're on lockdown yet). And I spent most of today playing Animal Crossing. xD

I've watched a bunch of anime, but one I've started recently and that's really easy to binge is My Hero Academia. Basic, perhaps, but it's really good imo.

They finally closed our beaches here the other day. About time because people weren't taking this social distancing thing seriously AT. ALL. Seriously, probably had thousands of people on the beaches before the mayor said no more.
