I could probably get away with working from home, but then I know I'd get stir crazy eventually.
Well, strike that...having a 2-year old to look after makes it hard to focus on anything, so never mind lol.

I'm not ready mentally for tomorrow. Physically, I'd probably be fine.

I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow lol. I had such a nice mostly lazy day off. ;A;
Thanks for the knick-knack! And that's all very exciting news!

Because time waits for no one! x-x
@lupaprinceromulus: You're welcome, and you seem so helpful to others. :)

@booderdooder: Good to know, and thanks for the tip!

Storage isn't a huge necessity to me anyway since I've got jump drives and an old external hard drive hiding somewhere lol.
@lupaprinceromulus: If I find someone who's into that sort of thing, I'll try to remember to share lol.

I was considering getting something like that and haven't yet done my research on pricing and options, but that has me intrigued now! I figured it would be a lot more expensive to get one of those!

Hmm, nicest thing I bought for myself are probably one of my various pairs of boots lol. I have a bit of a problem in that I love boots so much. xD One of the nicest things someone bought for me was my pair of Michael Kors boots, which retailed for $245 at the time. Also my Doc Martens, which I have the black matte and the shiny white pairs. ^o^
@lupaprinceromulus: Oh that's neat. I wonder if it has anything to do with the crisis the world is going through now?
@lupaprinceromulus: Nope, not to me, but I'm not into that kind of stuff.
@micki chiba: That's awesome! What kind?
@lupaprinceromulus: Not much. Having a mostly lazy day off. You?
@Panda: Thank you! Completed my end of the trade!

I think you're right--I don't think unemployment covers much, let alone enough to live comfortably on. But I'm guessing that's part of their way of saying "Get a job so you won't be in this situation".

But yeah, the bigger places don't make much sense, but they probably figure their employees are replaceable.

Yeah, I just can't imagine being in that situation where you don't know if you can support yourself anymore.
I mean filing for unemployment is one thing, but that's still gotta suck when I'm sure it take a while to process.
