Hikaru was just happy in general he had alone time with her, and this announcement and party would cheer her up. He was jealous of Tamaki though..he had Alice around more than he did.

She gives her goodbyes saying she'd be back tomorrow with the actual cakes, and left. Hunni digs into the sample cake that was left for him.

She moves away, speaking softly, ''I'm fine..just still processing what happened..." She kept a good distance from him, having missed her friends but she didn't feel stable enough to be near them.
