Well, I believe what he wants from you is drama, and also what you're getting out of it; the thrill of a secret. You're getting a little adrenaline rush, and it's exciting. And if he does 'have everything', then I bet you he really is bored! He doesn't really have to work to get anything, so he stirs up the effort with all these secrets. He could also be one of those people that just can't be monogamous. It would be better for him if he were up front about it, but he's also seeking that thrilling secret life, those near misses, and the like. You also assume a lot in thinking this chickadee doesn't know about you (maybe not specifically but that he's cheating in general).
The only thing I'd suggest you do is periodically head to the free clinic or abortion center and make sure you don't have any STDs, since he has multiple partners, and, from the sound of it, isn't likely discretionary.

You don't actually have to start out trusting someone. That's not a bad thing. Trust should be earned, and just because some people are willing to give it as a gift, that doesn't mean you have to.
