Eke chuckled and nudged him when his hair was ruffled.

"Absolutely, i can learn to drive as i go" he said laughing.

He hugged Ryker back and shook his head

"Its fine. At least i made it to shore before i passed out" he said smiling

Eke walks over and just hugs Ryker.

"Its okay...you just scared me...i saw bubbles...then nothing...then so much...red..." he said shaking a little.

"and then you popped out of the water and i..everything went dark." he said before letting go.

He sat down looking at Ryker. "Do that again, and im leaving your butt here"

Eke came out.

The boy did not look pleased.

"You! Dont scare me like that!" he cried holding the bump on his forehead.

"I thought you got hurt..." he said calming down.

He woke suddenly only a few minutes later.

He sat up quickly enough he hit his head on the top bunk.

"OW!!!!" he screamed holding his head.

"Ryker!!" he called stumbling to standing.

Eke was still wide eyes and white as a sheet with fear.

"Y...you..." he scrambled back to the shore, desperate to get to where he couldnt drown.

The moment he hit said shore, down he went, fainting from stress.

Eke stood there nervously.

He watched the whole thing and as Ryker went under for the second time he felt his heart stop a moment.

All he could do was worry

"Uh...sure...i-i guess.." he said putting his clawed hand in the water.

"Ill be here" he said

"I guess. Im a dragon...so therefore...part of nature..." he said looking up his pupils becoming more slitted.

"Sometimes i forget that i am..." he said softly.

"I mean i cant really go into my dragon form without risking a heart attack" he said sighing

He looked around.

"This place is magical." he mumbled

"Not in the usual sense i mean like...real magic...a...balance. Everything here is in balance" he said touching a fish.

"Its like...i havent shown myself to be a threat yet so...theres no reason to be scared" he said shrugging

"Er...Lets uh...work up to that one...being in water and swimming...are uh...two different things" he said nervously.

He couldnt hear the ringing anymore but it didnt matter.

He made a huge step that day and he felt proud.

"Wait till Aly hears about this" he said smiling

Eke nodded.

"He said it was nature communicating with me. Its...like one of those meditation bells. Clear, pure, relaxing." he said looking around

"Its like theres a light within me and i can feel the balance" he added

"Maybe its because im not afraid of the water anymore"

He blinked as he has never thought about that.

He always had something to worry about. But right then..it was just him and the lake.

He looked to the fish and closed his eyes putting the poor fish back into the water.

And for the moment he just stood there, listening to everything.

He felt warm and at peace. After a bit he looked at Ryker and his always tense shoulders were completely unscrunched.
