Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"..." Lindsay was silent for a moment, thinking about that.

"...I've heard about what's happening with her." he said.

"You're going to need some serious and very specified backup to help her." he told her.

"There's my brother, who can counter Kiah's rune and such, but... well, ever since he took her to that room, he's distanced himself from others. To the point of nearly cutting off communication entirely..." he muttered.

"Or there's Azazel. Or any of the demons."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Giana seemed to still be confused, and a little irritated, but she had calmed down.

And it seemed like she wasn't jumping to conclusions now.

"...all right then." she said.

"But you had BETTER come and talk to me about this later." she told her, as Lindsay approached andthey left the room the door being closed and locked after they were in the hallway.

"How is she?" she guard asked.

"Seemingly back to her old self." Lindsay responded.

"Good." the guard replied, as Lindsay then looked at Erica.

"Who is left for you to help?" he asked her.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

It didn't take long and Lindsay was on his feet again.

Giana was very confused to see this.

"Phoenix. Technically." Lindsay said.

"Are you feeling more like yourself?" he asked her.

"Yes." Giana responded.

"Then our work here is done." Lindsay said.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

my little jokes on thee...

Giana wasn't exactly sure how to respond to that.

"...k." was all she responded with, before she looked over towards Lindsay.

"Um... is he...?" she started to ask, before his entire body seemed to just light on fire.

"What the HELL!?" she exclaimed.

"Eri, we need to do something!?" she sad to Erica, clearly not knowing what was happening.

my little jokes on thee...

"Wh... what?" she mumbled.

"What...? What is...?" she muttered further.

"A copy?" she then asked Erica.

"Yes." Erica responded, turning to leave again.

"..." Giana was now silent, taking all of this in, but looking back towards Erica as the door was opened.

"Erica?" she said, before pausing.

"Nevermind." she muttered. "It's clear you don't want to talk to me."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Wait!" Giana exclaimed, as Lindsay let go and fell off to the side, not moving.

"Erica, wait!" Giana said, getting up and making her way over.

"What the hell, Erica?" she asked.

"What was with the stuff you told me earlier? And how I was feeling so off and weird afterwards?" she continued to inquire.

"I don't actually feel that way. I love this place. And yet you convinced me to turn on it. And now you show up and take it it away." she said further. "Why?" she asked again.

"Why do that to me?" she finished, sounding near tears.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Lindsay stepped in as well, and even HE had to admit the temperature was a little warn in there.

'So THIS is the power of an efreet...' he thought, as Giana looked over towards Erica.

"YOU!" she screamed out in anger, and leapt right towards her, only to be intercepted by Lindsay, tackling her to the ground, and pinning her with a half-nelson. As he did so, he started to absorb the heat around them, and the fire he felt starting to come forth.

And he was feeling it.

"LET ME GO!" Giana ordered, as Lindsay looked towards Erica.

"Pretty sure I can't keep this up for long." he told her.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Lindsay noticed her coming, and waved back to her.

"Hello again, Erica." he greeted her when she was close enough to speak to.

"I've been told some of the trauma you've experienced." he told her. "And I'm here for you if you need anyone to speak to." he continued. "But... you already know that." he went on.

"For now, we've been tasked to deal with the one in this room." he then said.

"...and I think I'll be able to hold her back and absorb her flames long enough for you to help her." he finished.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Hal groaned lightly.

"Yeah... yeah, makes sense." he said.

"Anyway, go on." he told her.

"Go and help the people you can. But please be mindful of your own safety." he pleaded.

"And is there anything WE can do to help you?" he asked.

"We're all here for you, I promise."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

"...yeah, from what I've heard, that's as good an answer as we're getting." Hal admitted.

"I don't like it, but I understand it." he said.

"Regardless, if you're going to go help Robyn, do so." he told her.

"...she won't put up much of a fight. Or at all." he admitted.

"Poor thing's been... well... a doll."

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"..." Hal was silent for a moment.

"Well... last I heard, Sydney Sherwood of the Triad is keeping her in a special mirrored room that reflects mana." he told her. "And yes, I only know that because Lady Sherwood felt it right to inform me about it, seeing as Kiah is my employee, as well a my family." he informed her.

"Be warned, her rune seems to be out of control." he went on.

"And I'm not fighting you on this because I KNOW you're the only one willing and able to help the ones that have been suffering from this." he then told her.

"Does nobody ANY good to fight you." he sighed.

"Though, once everything's sorted, you NEED to rest and let YOURSELF heal from all this." he stressed.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Hal opened his mouth to answer, when his desk phone rang.

"...one second." he said to her, before answering.

"Agent Sharp speaking." he said into it. "...Nathan calm down... yes... yes, I KNOW that Erica is missing, but she's not.... No... No, she's here. She just arrived.... no, there is no need to send someone up.... Nathan, stop talking for a moment." he continued, before groaning lightly.

"She's here, asking to help Robyn. And I am going to tell her where Robyn is, to let her help. Please do not interfere with this, we know Robyn won't hurt her." he continued, before there was silence again for a moment.

"All right. Good bye then." he finished, hanging up.

"She's in dorm 33." he informed her.

"And Nathan said he will not have the team he's put together for Giana interfere. They will be given instructions to wait where Giana is, and you will go there after helping Robyn." he stated.

'By the way, SHE'S in Isolated Containment Area C." he then added.

...and I'll forgive thy

"DAMN IT!" Nate cursed out loud.

"Why should I think anything different!?" he growled loudly, knowing he needed to inform people of this.

Meanwhile, at Hal's office, she knocked on the door, and when she was told it was open, she opened it.

"Oh, Erica!" Hal exclaimed with mild surprise when he saw her.

"What can I help you with?" he asked.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

"..." Nate was silent, before shaking his head.

"Right." he said.

About 20 minutes later, Nate made his way to her room, knocking on the door and entering.

"We have the team together." he told her, wondering if she was even there still.

He HOPED she was.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.
