@Wildfire: I think her intent was to take it to her coworkers anyhow, lol. Glad to hear yours turned out. Roommate managed to fill the house with smoke for a minute there.

I don't think I've ever had split pea and ham soup but this one I'm a little scared of, as I said lol.

Hopefully she leaves for work soon and I can make myself something to eat. I've been waiting to use the stove all morning. @_@;;;

Good morning! I have no plans, other than probably cleaning up after my roommate in the kitchen. She made split pea soup with ham that spent most of the night on the stove and good lord I'm scared of it. :I But also she's made a mess and I can smell stuff on the stovetop being burned and uuuugh.

Other than that I'm probably just gonna play Minecraft all day lmao.

How about you?

@Wildfire: The pizza was the highlight of my day I think, lol. Though I've also played some minecraft. Been a while since I've done that so that's been nice. :)

Oh man that wind today is so cold! I had to go out to bring in the lawn trash bins before they blew around the neighborhood and man was I glad to get back inside. Sorry to hear the pollen's getting to you.

@Lotus: @Wildfire:

The pizza and chocolate helped substantially, lol. I ate more than half the dang pizza, though! I was way hungrier than I realized. Maybe I was just hangry and that was my problem, lmao!

@Koah: A parent unhappy with you already? Oh dear. D: Yes, at least you have Voltra!

@Wildfire: Stressed for some reason. Everything's annoying me. :P Otherwise I'm fine, I guess I'm just cranky. But my groceries including the pizza I got for lunch just arrived, and I have some chocolate, so hopefully I can solve the crankiness lmao.

@Koah: Apparently I had an oil leak I didn't know about that sparked and spread to the hoses. I woke up to a car that wouldn't start, and when I popped the hood there were ashes on my engine block! Could have been a lot worse as I believe it only took out the hoses but yikes.

Good morning, everyone, hope your days are going well. :D

@Wildfire: Lol well at least you got your eggs! ^^;

And I wouldn't have minded if it hadn't been a ten-year-old absolute piece of crap. I mean after all this stupid car caught on freaking fire. Also like, some kind of input on it would have been nice, given I was stuck with it for several years. 9_9

@Wildfire: Well I guess I can't really solve that dilemma for you, lol. It is a nice day though! Supposed to be kinda crappy the next few days so might as well enjoy it while we can I suppose.

Also I never understood the kids who got upset because the car is slightly wrong either. I would have been stoked to get a car as a teenager instead of being forced to "buy" the piece of crap Ford I did get (my parents, and I think this was mostly my stepfather's decision, basically confiscated my savings and 'gave' me the car without me having any input whatsoever).

Actually that's the car that caught on fire! LMAO

@Wildfire: Right? It blows my mind how government websites are always just the most awful rundown pieces of crap. Always riddled with errors. But hey, save time, do your government business online! XD

How's your day going?

@Wildfire: In the absence of any other factors I can think of, I think it could have. But haven't never been able to fully investigate it I really don't know. It would be nice to finally get an answer but I won't hold my breath either. ^^;

In other news, the ebt site is down and it's frustrating timing since I want to order a few things and don't know what I have on ebt at the moment. You'd think the freaking government could manage to afford a decent website, but nooOOOOooo.

@Koah: Oh gosh, that sound tremendously stressful. D: I can understand your fears, for sure.

As for why they "do some things"--my guess is, from your description, they're spoiled little farts. XD;;

@Koah: Man, I couldn't do daycare. I love kids, like my cousin's kids for instance? but prefer to not be responsible for them lmao. At least you get to hand them back at the end of the day, lol.

@Wildfire: My mom for her part is pretty sure the Paxil had something to do with it, perhaps set off by the shock of seeing my dad after so many years. She may be right, though I don't know how much my dad really impacted things. 🤔 And thank you! I appreciate that. 😊

@Koah: I think they now have a name for it, too, "parentification." It's not considered a good thing, either.

@Koah: Oh man, I'm the oldest by far of my siblings and helped raise my two half brothers on my mom's side when they were little. To the point that I was expected, under threat of punishment, to get up in the middle of the night if either cried to soothe/feed/change diapers/etc, and god help me if my stepfather was woken by, you know, his own children. Because he had to work the next day, poor baby, while I was only trying to survive high school under fear of punishment if I didn't bring home good enough grades.

*cough* But I'm not bitter.

Seriously, I adore my brothers but the whole "make the older kids miniature parents" crap upsets me in general, I just don't think it's fair. It's also quite possibly why I decided I didn't want kids of my own while my brothers, as far as I know, plan to.

And yeah, I dunno what exactly was her problem, but she's pretty judgy in general so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
