@xvz: I have an idea, but I kinda want to try executing it first before showing, in case it doesn't work out XD

@xvz: I got tubes of watercolor which are more of a liquid paint rather then a dry disk. So you add the water to it to thin it out. Two methods, add water to the page, then the color and spread it around, or put in the thick color, and then wet the brush to spread it around. I covered the whole rose with solid color, then darkened the red to make shadows, put those on, then when it dried, went back over the whole thing with slightly saturated red, and then lined the other side with white and blended it in on the edges.

Oddly enough I usually don't have a lot of patience lol. Well for some things I guess. Plus, I went over basically with a flat red, then did the shadows, then went over with red again to underpaint, then added the high lights and blended them in.

Those are nice. They are very stencil-like. Much more something you'd as a watercolor than what I did lol

I really don't know XD. I guess I took what skills I knew from acrylic painting and added it that. I know like watercolor is supposed to be more saturated, and I might do a piece that is lighter and more flowy, but I usually do good roses, so I started with that.

@moif: @pachi

Okay I grabbed some actual tube watercolors and watercolor paper from the store. I did this.

@Starlight: Sure sounds good to me. Sorry it took me a while to respond. I'll start a trade.

"Oh, the tired horror!"

@Starlight: I was originally going to offer one Key To Heaven since I have 3, but that wouldn't be a fair exchange. Though I could take the ears and some volts *for* the Key To Heaven if you are interested in that.

"Oh, the tired horror!"

I guess I didn't realize the volt to ohm ratio was kinda small. I only have 1k in volts and 25 ohms. Oh well nvm then.

"Oh, the tired horror!"

@Starlight: I'm low on volts but have 25 ohms. Can I offer 1-2 ohms for the unique droopy ears?

@Anarchist Beauty: I can sell you a Cheshire Cabaret for 5k?

@Kittyzilla: I'm like 35, so I was raised in the era before internet and cell phones. I did play some educational computer games as a kid but I used to draw on paper all the time. Then when I graduated high school, and went to community college, I was going for a illustration certificate and I learned both traditional and digital art, but I have a nice drawing tablet so it makes drawing on the computer easier.

@Kittyzilla: I actually was suggested I try a traditional media recently since I've been having issues with wanting to draw. I got some watercolor paper and paints today to try and mess around with that. I've taken a lot of figure drawing classes at the community college nearby years ago, but I moved to digital art like ten+ years ago. I enjoy digital because it's easier to undo mistakes, but I'm gonna try to do some watercolor stuff.
