@Lily: Welcome back! I understand getting distracted by other games... *glances at Mario + Rabbids*
@Yuracye: Well, good news, is it seems to only be showing 16 numbers. Better than ALL OF THEM. :P
Yeah, some children definitely can be spoiled. Especially when it comes to other peoples' things. I'm just remembering a while ago when one of my mother's friends kids who was over when that family was visiting. He went onto one of our gaming systems - without permission - while my brother and I were off at school (he was much younger than we were). He ended up breaking one of the controllers - one of the good ones, too - and we didn't even get an apology. It's kids like that that just make me... ugh.
@Shadami: Good luck! I'm glad the games I do generally don't have achievements. Although, collectables can be just as bad. XD

@Yuracye: Yeah, it'd be nice if it was something like 1 2 3 [ ] 14 15 16, where in the middle is a box that lets you type in a page you want to go to.
I can't really chime in on the drinking conversation, since, well... I don't drink alcohol. Heck, I don't even drink things like coffee or soda. Basically, it's just water for me. XD
Regarding the children conversation... yeah, it's really child dependant. I m fine with children when they can be reasoned with, but it's just... ugh otherwise. I'll likely never have children of my own, for a couple reasons. Most importantly, I can sometimes barely take care of myself (food? What's that?), let alone someone else. XD
I was a pretty good, quiet child myself. Although, I tended to take everything that I was told 110% to heart. For instance, strong language was entirely forbidden in my household, which is why I don't swear at all, even today. It's also why I'm an avowed pacifist, overly apologetic, and so forth. So, uh, I'm probably kinda messed up in the opposite extreme of most people... >.>;

It's nice that it's not showing just the previous and next two, plus first/last. I don't know if it needs to show all of them. Or if there's a limit....

@Shadami: I mean, you can pretty much fluff anything you want to work with anything else. That's the magic of RPs. :P
@Lily: It's almost like we talk a lot in here. XD
@Slytherclaw: Well, at least we know its on the agenda at some point. So that's something.

@Lily: If you want real bumbling... I never managed to make it to Verdanturf until I came back, with Rock Smash, from Rustboro. Because when I was exploring west of Mauville for the first time, I got sidetracked by the day care, and then had to go back to heal after a bunch of trainers. And then apparently never went west again... >.>;
You can not believe how stupid I felt realizing how easy it would have been to get there. XD

@Oddwood: I do wish that there was an option to allow you to jump to the last unread post, though. Because sometimes you want to catch up, but can't remember where you left off...

@Oddwood: Ah, fair enough. I personally like pings, because it tells me if I have something to respond to. XD

@Oddwood: Not bad. Just winding down for the night, probably going to relax (well, hopefully relax... maybe I shouldn't do Mario Kart) with my new Switch. So, that'll be fun. Yourself?
(Also, if you're wanting to ping people, don't forget to but the @ symbol in front of the names. Helpfully, it also autocompletes.)

@Concentricity: Cool. And, yeah, I getcha. There are a bunch of Victorias, after all. :P
@Oddwood: Hello, hello. And welcome.

@Concentricity: Helpfully, I have a map bookmarked. :P
(Or, I guess, just near Vancouver. It's across the water, on Vancouver Island. Yes, Vancouver is not on Vancouver island. Just like neither Victoria is on Victoria Island. It gets awkward when you're important enough to have several different types of geographic locations named after you. :P)

@Concentricity: Neither, actually. So long as I'm pursuing an education (and help out around the house), my dad and step-mom are letting me live at their place. Which I'm thankful for, because even finding a place - let alone paying for one - is crazy in Victoria. Less than a 0.5% vacancy rate. Woo.

@Concentricity: I'm not sure. It seems like they mostly got in between the siding, so that's I think the only part that needs to really be patched up.
@Shadami: Oh, yeah, I know it's tough. Another option is the old tried and true Ralts (I've got a big soft spot for it, since it was the first 'mon I ever caught), go for the more emotional fluff. Battle power is just a side benefit. :P
You aren't going for any classes (barring Paleontology, and a bit of botany), that really benefit from specific Pokémon. Turtwig's nice, because it's pretty strong (being a starter), and when it's a Torterra you can both ride around on it and plant stuff in it.
Or, if you're focussing on more Paleontology, you could ask your GM about fossil 'mon.

@Shadami: I mean, to be fair, in PTU, basically any Pokémon can be made worthwhile. If it's a low level game, though, do not start with a Happiny. I learned that mistake the hard way. :P
I've personally found Chingling to be a very good Status support (so, less 'fighty'), especially with Telekinesis as an Egg move. Butterfree is also rather nice as a status 'Mon. It has Compoundeyes to raise accuracy, it's maneuverable, and gets a wide variety of statuses in the worm of the Powders/Spores.
@concentricity: I meant early on in the infestation, actually. Before too much damage could be had. XD
