I also know how that is. Most of the time, I kept to myself as well. I know I mostly hung out in a few of the forms. I hung out in an Alien themed one all the time, it was one of my favorite spots to chat on.

I remember joining since I figured it would be a good place to break off from Gaiaonline since I was there most of the time. Plus it didn't help that I got sick of their BS. xD
I know when the black out happened, I was super active in Voltra's official discord. Then when it came back online, I was active here for a few months before my depression hit me like a brick wall.

Hopefully that will be the case. I know I've been seeing people on tiktok mention sites like Gaiaonline every so often, but mostly as a way to provide a free resource for OC creation or "Hey do you remember this website?" kind of thing. I haven't seen anyone mention this website, but then again, it was kinda niche. I believe I found this website through facebook, funny enough.

Honestly? Same. I know there was another website I was a part of that was pretty similar to Voltra in size, but it shut down out of the blue. I don't know what happened to it, but I loved the avatars there and made several cute ones. One of my favorites was a bee themed avatar.

Only asking, but does anyone know if any of the site moderators are active? I know Voz hasn't been active since 1 year ago, which is pretty concerning to me. I did look over what was said in his last post and he said he'd keep the site up.

So... I haven't been on this website in about 3 years and it shocks me that this place is still up.
TBH, I kinda miss it, but after seeing a few other posts, the site seems to have gone dead? Like, the last announcement was 2 years ago? Just ouch... X_X;;
I remember when the site first launched, it was so lively. :) But I think after the first shut down (I will not be getting into this history cuz its a lot and my memories are hecka fuzzy), the site kinda... Died off? Like a lot of usual people who were active came back but didn't post as often, or just ended up not coming back at all. Its a shame since I really do like this site, still do, but never could afford to donate anything to the site.
Does anyone have any memories from the site they'd like to share? Feel free to post them here if you want. :)

Its funny though, I was cleaning my room the other day, didn't find any dust bunnies but did find a lot of hair balls. (My hair is long so it gets everywhere, lol.)

@MoodyB: Yeah :( I don't think they'd recognize me too based on my username as well. On this site and the other site I was on, I had two different usernames. But this is also true, making memories with other people is fun as well.
@Anarchist Beauty: For sure! Sadly for me, they didn't want to give out their discord information. They had their reasons behind it though. I think they said something about their online life and personal life wanting to be separate. I respected their decision on it.

Makes sense to me. XD Mine is mostly due to stress or just forgetting. The main platforum I'm active on these days is discord, but I think that's because that's where all of my friends are. :)

@Totalanimefan: Oh for sure! I will admit, I am pretty bad for not coming back to sites like this when they launch or not. Its mostly due to IRL stuff or things not really keeping me attached here. XD But IDK, something about them makes me come back thinking they will return, but something tells me they never will. :(
I'm actually making a character loosely based on them too.

So... I was looking in my past post history trying to find someone in particular that I chatted with quite a lot.
Well, I did end up finding their profile and remembered all of the good times I've had chatting with them. Sadly, they never came back after black out (Voltra Vets know what I'm talking about) and I never heard nor seen from them again. I remembered them being on another website too, but that site doesn't exist anymore from what it seems like.
I remember making them cute pixel art too, which is probably what makes me even sadder since I have it online. :( They will be missed.
Sorry if this seems rambily, I just wanted to share it with you guys.
