@neku: No luck about it. Art isn't a talent or a gift, its lots and lots of hard work. You earned that :p
I taught myself makeup through years of being a creepy-goth-teen. My husbands cousin got to study under TOM SAVINI. I'm so insanely jealous... but neither of us have jobs in the industry so....

Every day with many people. But, to quote a great band: "We know you're all robots, and we don't care!"

In my experience, both as a person who has met a few addicts and as a person who has addictions of her own (Nicotine and caffeine), no amount of discipline will deter them from using. An addict/substance abuser needs to want to quit of his own free will if its going to stick. I've seen many disciplinary actions backfire, sending the user back into their substances hard... and because its with children, it would be an even more sensitive issue. Perhaps it might be useful to call in a specialist, or dial one of those substance abuse hotlines to see what they might recommend?

@Lunakiri: I'm pretty good at telling whats going on in front of my eyes from whats going on in my head MOST of the time. The weird thing is, if I'm passing out and I see something I know isn't there and I concentrate on trying to see the real thing, the hallucinations become stronger. I once saw a bunch of white cement planters filled with gorgeous plants in the middle of a dark street that I KNEW were just the hatch marks of a crosswalk, but the more I looked the more vivid they became. (dont worry I don't drive! Hubby was behind the wheel)

Also, lol, first sleep text I sent my husband went something like this: HIM "Hey babe, how's it going?" ME "The air is just way too hot in here, I've got to find a way to cool it down"

@Lunakiri: AHH! CUTE.
I don't mind, I'm still figuring it out myself!
So, usually if I'm in bed anywhere from 8pm to 11pm, I'll usually wake up between 2/4am. Like clockwork. If I push myself to stay up too late or just have too much energy to sleep, I'll wake up 5/6 am at the latest with horrible cluster headaches or migranes. yay. My brain instantly drops into the dream state when I fall asleep... (sometimes before I fall asleep if I'm doing daytime stuff and start feeling like I'm passing out... makes for wicked hallucinations!) and I'm a lucid dreamer, so I have very active nights even when I'm resting. Usually I just... am wide awake suddenly in the morning. There is no gradual transition from dream-land to real life, so sometimes it can be jarring... I wake up saying weird stuff sometimes. I used to sleep-text my husband when we were dating too, but that was before I knew I had a thing so it was just like... a funny quirk till it started happening a lot.... /ramble

Yasss.
You both referenced the band of which I spoke, and also my sloppy intent to rhyme.
A+ my friend.

@Lunakiri: Yeah thats one of many things people (not you, I totally get the context of what you're saying ;p ) assume wrong on when I say I have narcolepsy. I ALWAYS get "Oh must be nice to sleep whenever you want, I have insomnia and...." and I'm just like 1:its not ever when I want, and 2: I actually don't get a full restful sleep at night so I totally understand being tired all the time.

...And thats when they actually think I'm not using "narcoleptic" as a euphemism for lazy/generally sleepy.

@Lunakiri: I am not in full control of my sleep schedule. I really should though...

@Lunakiri: Ha, just do your thing with my green lady if you feel so inclined. I'm talking all fancy like some guy who doesn't socialize with females very often... or something. It's late! :p
