I feel your pain, m'dear! We've had a week like that. It tried to rain a bit last night but gave up after not too long. I think it would have came down in steam rather than raindrops.

So back in the day we had a Raccoon problem but we never actually saw the raccoon. One night I hear something by our pond, and there he is standing in a little man-shaped shadow. Now, the window backed right up to this guy... he was standing right next to my face basically. I was like "Hey raccoon what are you doing" and I kid you not, he stands up and eyeballs me but does not back down. Every word I said to him, his head shifts as if he's listening to me, so I get up and walk outside and the little jerk was gone! I was convinced it was a chupacabra and not a raccoon.... the things eyes were glowing!

@Rallaa: Its a beautiful thing I drew as a teenager that sort of became a running joke between me and like... one other person maybe. I'm pretty sure you can see it in all its glory in a picture I posted in the faces of voltra thread, wherever that ran off to....

@Tuijp: It only lasted a couple days for my husband, so I'm hoping it'll get out of here quick. Thats the one thing they don't tell you about happily-ever-after scenarios. You've got to share EVERYTHING.

@Tuijp: it would appear as though that is the case, yes. At least work forced me to take a week off before I even got sick, I'm not missing out on money I can't even make.

Don't know how I missed this. I've got a cornstar tattoo on my chest, a rooster on the back of my neck and some stars in a NSFW region.
The stars were technically my first, more of a scarification plus color I did on myself when I was too young to realize it could have wound up very bad... but I was as safe as a teen doing her own body mods could be.
The cornstar was my first official tatt based off original bs doodles. My reasoning behind getting an inside joke permanently etched into my flesh was that most people love their first tatt and regret their it later in life. I went ahead and got something I regretted right away and now I love it.
The rooster was another one I drew myself, and got the day after my dad died. His screen name was rooster.
