@nyreen: Did you have to go to any special school to work with at risk youth, or was it more of an on the job training experience? I used to work along side developmentally disabled citizens and I discovered my passion is helping people, but all the jobs available where I might be working with the developmentally disabled want me to have a better education or the ability to drive. I'm envious of you right now, share your secrets!

Welcome! I was all about Buffy in high school because I was(/am) a big horror geek and it was about the only thing around with any relevance to my interests. I miss that kind of vampire, even though I'd go totally Nosferatu if I had to pick a favorite type. Either one is so much more awesome than what I've seen of the recent incarnations of said beast.

@Juneberry: I'm right there with you on sudden loud noises and *most* fire sources. I'm ok to cook, but cautious as possible anywhere else. I also despise the sun. It is far, far too bright. Too bad its so necessary for survival. *shakes a fist*

@SirLionelNigelConrad: I agree that you're a lot more likely to get arrested for driving while under the influence of weed than back in the day... but there still are stores selling it every block and it also funds a lot of good public resources, so it seems pretty legal as long as you follow the rules. They could try to "crack down" but that wouldn't accomplish much at this point but throwing yet another stick in our already unstable economy.
