I've been in love for several years now, so I've got some insight. Love starts chemical, for sure. Most love that I witness tends to fall away with time. I've seen and am experiencing the lasting love. It takes full acceptance of each other, flaws and all. It takes COMPLETE honesty and open conversations. It takes respecting each others boundaries. It takes soooo much trust. None of this should ever feel forced or one sided, it should feel easy and natural. If you find yourself having arguments instead of discussions, get some space until you cool down. Acknowledge emotions but do not confuse them for logic.
TL;DR: Love is chemical, but it takes actions and attention to keep it strong and firey.

Share your favorite comic books with me!
I got moved into my new house and finally got a decent job:
I work at a comic book store now.
Huzzah, except I have not read a comic since I was maybe 12.
(In my past, I was a collector of Morbius, ElfQuest, and Tales from the Crypt. I still have the Elfquest <3 )
EVERYTHING looks SO good and I do not know where to start. Except that I usually don't dig on the well known super heroes. I mean, I'm aware of them and could probably tell you a handful of trivia tidbits, so I won't be completely horrible at that part of my job... I'm just into a different kind of read. Anyone got any good suggestions?

Its started snowing here last night as well. I left the house in a light jacket because it was warm but windy THEN I GET THIS.

A lot of people could not understand why I didn't want to see my father hooked up to life support far after he had died. They also could not understand why I didn't want to see what a good job the coroner did. I explained myself, in much the same way you did above, by stating that wasn't the memory of him I wanted to stick with me. While they didn't fully understand my feelings, they respected them because the grieving process is different for everyone.
If you have not tried saying most of what you said above to your family, give it a shot. If they still don't respect your personal grieving process, you should not be made to feel bad for not respecting theirs.
